Many people have asked for the price of sf s fairing for they want to attach the fairings to convert and others want the fairing adjacent to the engine
Here goes incase this is of anyones help
Thanks ragu1 for providing me the details

lol..no debt and all bhai....I checked with the service guys and incidentally they had ordered fairing as one of the gp edition bikes they had ordered got damaged in transit.

So the cost of fairing is pretty reasonable I think and the fairing is divided into 5 parts.

1. around the headlight. = ₹1300
2. just below the headlight on left = ₹1200
3. just below the headlight on right = ₹1200
4. at the bottom on the left = ₹1100
5. at the bottom on the right=₹1100

So now for a full crash the cost will be ₹5900, which I think is not bad at all. Secondly, I think in normal accidents its highly unlikely that all 5 will get damaged together. What do you think?

P.S. - The cost is for GP edition, for black or white it may be less but the service guys were not sure about it.
*It is subjected to vary with different states and SVC will add labour charges separately. And if the customers are gullible they might even end up paying more to the SVC.

Don't for get that it will require welding on the front frame to support the front faring , its easier said then done .

Even my papa said this type of noise came another day but went away.. 😕

Chill, its normal. The axle and disc brakes take wet mud/dirt and need time to dry out and get cleaned.

Try riding it in dry condition so that you can assess what exactly has happened to it.

The issue has been solved bro.. As told by srinath mud was stucked.. It went away next day.. This normally happens when i ride through muddy roads or waterlogged streets..

Well, is it only for helmets with D-ring? My helmet has a ring which isn't D-ring and it doesn't go in to the hook as I expected. It would be a nice feature if it works!

                Anyone using it?

Yesterday while returning from my college via chennai-b'lore highway, I saw a gixxer parked in front of hyundai car factory. It was a red one and had tn 45 registration I guess (anyone from this forum?) . He had perfectly locked his helmet under his seat to the left of his bike. He uses the same off road helmet as I do, so I presume that it doesn't have any D-ring mechanism. I wish to know how he actually fitted it to the bike. While following the instructions in the manual, I found that my helmet's ring/lock couldn't be fitted onto the hook under the seat. Someone please check this and share your ideas on how to lock the helmet.

I also presume that the helmet ring mentioned in the manual is the helmet lock ring attached to the straps. Please clarify this one too.

My helmet has a strap and a slide type lock which is pretty bigger, narrower and longer than the D-ring type lock.

Took out my bike after 1st service on wet roads and in rains! I should say, its so good to ride it on wet roads as well! But the sad part is that the bike which came out fresh from water wash during service is now all muddy and brown :P :P anyway, its so playful so why would I put it in rest when it rains? xD

I noticed that the brakes are a total turn off in wet conditions. Keeping in mind the safety aspect, I urge everyone to warm up the engine, tyres and brakes effectively before taking it out on wet. Even after that, maintain slower speeds and do not try to overtake in a hurry or split lanes. Keep safe distance so that you can use the wet brakes effectively and avoid any crash. Corner only when you are assured that everything around is favorable. Visibility due to the wet helmet visor was also a turn off. So please look around for vehicles and bad roads and be alert always! Check if your tyre treads are perfect as well!

I found my sweet riding posture and now it's so supportive to my lower back! There is absolutely no pressure on my wrists and my arms rest comfortably on the handlebar. There is a lot of place to scoot back and move to sides at corners. My legs feel less pain now, at the knees especially. My upper back feels free too. No pain on shoulders or lateral muscles as well. It's such a hoot to ride and take U-turns when the road is free

I am curious to know how taller riders like me sit on their gixxers when riding. Any pictures, friends?

                  Hi Srinath

You know how tall I'm & we went for a ride last week. I'm definitely taller than you. You saw me while riding.
                  Note: I'm 6.2"

But most of the times your spine is arched! I think that shouldn't be the case! stretch out and do some routine to strengthen your lower back. Your posture will automatically get corrected. I sometimes feel r15 is comfortable for me because although I lean forward, my spine remains straight!

I think you noticed me while I was parking my bike. I used to go to my most comfortable position ie sitting straight & I usually won't give much pressure to my forehands. Most of them will do. Just look @ the forehands once finish ur ride. Purely relaxed hands & body as well. Im riding bike for d past 8 yrs & successfully crossed more than 1 lakh kms last yr itself.

Earlier I had 2 bikes. TVS star city - 80k kms still running & maintained in gud condition. Yamaha gladiator - My elder bro gave it to me @ 60k kms to me. somehow I managed to cross 20k + kms. Later we sold it. Now my gixxer 6.5k kms.

Buddy. Each & everyone have different thoughts so choose as your wish. I may say black & the other guy may say red. I don't know the latest rate of the bike but do call to abt, jains Suzuki for any price variation. In Pramaan they just polish with wax solution. For sure you'll get 4 free service - till 12k kms.

                                Congrats in advance...
