Seems like the old pic. Person has cut off the mudguard or removed the extender. That's all.

Yes I am talking about the tail section of the mudguard. I don't think so that he cutted that portion. I have seen this type of Gixxer many time. Even search in Google for Gixxer. Most of the pics comes have small tail portion (Example pic, got from Google : http://s3-ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.c...ib1cb0Gfjo.jpg)

Its nothing. The long section of your mudguard is a removable piece. Once you remove it, it will end up looking like the one in the pic. That's it.

So to end please say me why the chain noise comes while riding? My bike will go for the 1st servicing on Monday.. 699 kms done including once where i reached 92kmph... and sometimes 70+ kmph.. i felt the chain noise today like the Pulsars do.. is it normal to come so early? Will it disappear on its own?

Gixxer has chain which is open to all environmental elements , if not cleaned and lubed periodically then it will be less efficient and noisy.

Just clean , lube it and noise will be gone.

Reaching 92 kmph before 1st service is not advisable. Should strictly maintain 4.5k RPM for initial 1k kms.

Use reserve to reserve technique to find out mileage ... That's the easiest and most widely used method

In love with my chick, Gixxer<3
