Finished my 2nd service recently and got the clutch case(paint peeling issue) and front wheels(wheel wobbling issue) replaced free of cost!

The clutch case looks good but I am not entirely satisfied with the wobbling issues. Before replacement, I could feel the front wheel wobble at all speeds. Now after the wheel replacement(the SVC had the bike for two days to fix all of this together along with 2nd service so I was not there to physically verify if they actually replaced the wheels), I can still feel it wobble slightly after 60 kmph speeds. Is this normal?

It looks something like this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzI-fUzfgeo

Wobbling is not as bad as in this video but I could feel it in the handlebar while riding above 60 kmph on highways!

Is this common in all bikes? Please suggest. Highway riding experience is getting spoilt because of this.

No way sir! this is not normal. Even at 90-100kmph speeds it should be straight. Its dangerous on highways and just in case if there is any stone underneath, the effect will be fatal. I was thinking of a bent wheel but you said you got it replaced. Now its time for you to check the cone set and/or loosen/tighten the front forks. Also check the front tyre for any damage or improper inflation.

Be safe, get it done first and then ride!

Erratum: its not my bike. Its a pic sent by the service supervisor at the svc. It may cost you 3~4k.

                        Is that your gixxer?

Its aesthetically pleasing and will also prevent mud from hitting the engine. But a few important things are still missing. Mud splashing at your legs will not stop. You cannot fit the leg guard which is an essential protection. This might divert the mud splashing on your legs but this is just seasonal and not an essential protection for a naked bike rider. You can live with cleaning the bike regularly as it will help the overall maintenance too.

As I feel, extra panels are totally unnecessary for this engine and bike. Although the weight is negligible, the bike's all good without the full cowl. A few posts back, there was an engine cowl picture, edited by an owner. The lower part alone. I think that will be better for it has a fewer limitations.

How much did it cost? Any holes poked? I heard from the showroom I booked that for the lower part, one hole needs to be poked on the front side of the frame.

Nope. It's not my bike. It's a pic forwarded by the Service Supervisor at VTJ Suzuki.

As you said, though it's aesthetically pleasing, i am not sure whether it would address the mud splash issue. Only SF users, who have ridden the bike in wet road conditions, can answer that.

I am told that it would cost 3~4k. I won't allow drilling my bike's chassis just for an experiment.

Riding the bike in Kochi during monsoons, mud splashing is a major issue that i am facing. The Suzuki people refuse to address this issue. I guess i have to live with it. Disappointed with Suzuki's response... (non-response!)

Hello Friends, my blue gixxy got first service today at 670 Km paid total Rs 430. ( 290 Engine Oil Motul 10w40 + 99 for chain lubrication and cleaning + 42 for oil filter)

Before Service Ideal RPM was set at 1.2 but now after servicing suzuki technician has set it to 1.5 and when i asked him about the same he shown me some paper on which it was mentioned that ideal RPM for gixxer should be 1.6 and that paper was also having ideal RPM details for other suzuki bikes and scooters. Technician said that guideline is from suzuki. So 1.5 Ideal RPM is correct after 1st service ?

second thing is when i bough gixxer 3 weeks back since then i felt handle bar is little bent towards right side but i though that this doubt could be just in my mind, because earlier i was riding pulsar and i always felt that handle was bent. Today while servicing i told the same thing to technician and actually handle was bent towards right. so he fixed it how much he could have but still i feel handle is not completely straight. what i can do for this issue ??

third thing is there is some chain sound coming at lower speeds, i asked technician about this he said as keep on riding chain will settle down and noise will be gone.

What is your feedback on these problems.
Wow bro! You're same as me.. difference is that my one's black beast[emoji1]
I too did my 1st servicing today @790kms

                            Engine oil-270
                            Chain lube-42
                            Labour charge-90
                            =402

Ideal rpm of mine has also been set to 1.5
Dont worry.. its the accurate one

Handle bar bent?[emoji15] i have a friend with blue gixxer who did an accident and then his handle bar bent to the left..he made it correct tho.. but he sometimes feels as if the bike is going to the left... if you feel the same then ask at SVC to check again..

Chain sound i too had before servicing... they lubed it..with Motul chain lube.. while returning home i felt the noise again but a bit lower.. so i put the bike on full stand and placed it on gear.. gears 1 2 and 3 had no noise.. but as i kicked in 4 n 5 it sounded as if something is moving inside the engine.. i got afraid n went back to SVC.. there the head technician took it for a trial run.. when he returned he said there was no such noise..also he told me to sit behind for another ride so that if i hear sounds again.. he took me n blasted off!! He was cornering at 77kmph!! I was like i am gonna die today[emoji37] ... anyways.. i didn't notice any sound then.. then i told him to do full stand n check..n there was the sound... then he explained it was normal because of the just new lube that was put on the chain n that the sound will go away after sometime.. n it did.. in the evening while riding it was smooth.. no sound... the lube was setting.. only sound was if i put on full stand.. i guess its because of the new lube n the engine oil...
At the end..my bike is more smoother now[emoji4] [emoji5]... don't be afraid of noises... its normal.. also i hear a sound in the engine while i hold the clutch and without accelerating...i guess its because if the new engine oil setting in...

                            Chill bro..enjoy your ride

Love my Black Beast.. get watchers everytime on the road..[emoji41]

Like you said, you would need to live with it if you don't want any modifications on your bike. I personally will never modify my bike except for the small belly pan if its available without the need of drilling holes or welding.

But are there any necessary mods to stop spilling of dirt e.t.c...???? Also I ve observed slight rust under handle bar on suspension bolts... Any need to worry???
