    Hi guys,

Anyone from Delhi owning gixxer and with some knowledge on identifying issues in bike. i feel my bike handle bar is little bent and headlight assembly is not in sync, because of that i am always afraid of taking it to high speeds.
some one from delhi kindly help me by taking a ride on my bike and confirm me if there is a issue with handle bar and headlight assembly.
Service center guys denying this that there is issue with headlight, about handle bar they are saying itna to chalta hai.

secondly when i ride it around in between 60 - 65 there is lot of sound coming from chain set. does any one else feel the same or its in my bike only.

enquire at the showroom or service centre you got the bike from. I do not know about online shopping for this and I would not suggest that too. Get to the nearest bike accessories store and they would help you. you can use the default smaller font for further posts

            Hi.

It's very simple, visit ur nearby lining works who stitches seat cover for bikes. Tell ur issues to him. He'll sure resolve ur problem. If u feel pillion is to high then you can carve the sponge but this will spoil the attractive look of the bike. Choice is urs...

See friend, if you are not interested to reply to my post then please don't. But please don't post something like this and not encourage anyone else to reply.
I have been following this thread since some time and have already gone through "some" of the pages and i did not find answers to all my questions. But no, i don't have enough time to read through 3000 pages.

I had some couple of questions, if you would please be kind to answer them.

                - how does this bike perform on extended periods of high speed riding?
                - Can the bike handle 100kmph when ridden for a long period?
                - how is the fuel efficiency when ridden between 90-100kmph on long tours?
                - how are vibrations beyond 80kmph?
                - how is the after sale service?
                - Even though its Suzuki, i need to ask - where does the bike stand when it comes to quality standards as compared to Yamaha and Bajaj?
                - bike is refined @ all times & even @ high speed riding. You'll get good control.
                - I think yes but twice I touched 100 kmph. Planning for a long trip this month.
                - you'll get around 30-35 kmpl. But I got mileage around 40 kmpl for 100 kms ride. My avg speed is 70 kmpl.
                - very very minimal vibs.
                - Not upto the mark. I used to fire my SVC to get the job done.
                - It always on par with Yamaha but not Bajaj. Suzuki's style is different when compared to others.

                Hope this OK...

                  Hi all

New gixxer owner here.. Moved from GS150R and decided gixxer after test riding every other bike in this price range..

I find gixxer not as smooth as GS150R.. I have done 100kms but i notice vibes at some RPMs... For example during idling i notice the rear mudguard vibrating.. Sometimes hands get little numb after 10km rides in city but rear view mirrors show no sign of vibes i.e. image is clear in them ... Never experienced such behavior in GS150r.. Is this level of vibration normal for a new bike or do I need to wait for 1st service for vibes to get sorted out?

FYI checked oil level and its fine... Planning to get this checked with service centre..

Gixxer has got very negligible vibes at high rpm's,i personally feel little vibes are necessary, you feel the grunt when you ride hard😋

How exactly is performing an endo related to wet grip?
Though I agree that OE tires have great grip.

Are you nuts ? How can you compare your brand new bike with a bike which is already done several services and engine is well set ? As per my knowldge Suzuki not recommending to drive it above 4.5k RPM before first service. I never felt any vibes at 'some' RPM below 4.5k. Didn't gone beyond that yet due to Suzuki's guildlines. Atleast start comparing after frist service, after engine is well settled with the riding condition. Don't expect a bike to perform butter smooth right after getting out of the factory.

This is the same I have to tell every new owners who is crying that gear shifting is hard. It needs time guys.

And any one tell me how exactly to calculate the milage using reserve to reserve method ? Don't suggest full tank to reserve method. Full tank fuel cost around 1000 bucks :P

I can't get an idea of that. Like fill the fuel, reset the odo when it hits reserve... and then ?

                          • Suzuki Gixxer 155 (1000 Km Review)

Thought of sharing a small Review after completing 1000 Km.
Since I owe a huge thanks and gratitude to the members and the lovely Forum.

Details are mentioned in points to help others.

Kms done till 12-Jun-2015 1025 Kms.
Fuel Refilled 35.61 Litres and still going.
First Servicing done at 592 Kms for 588 INR.
Purchase Cost 93000 INR on 02-May-2015.

Purpose of Bike: Daily Commute of 35 Kms from Home to Office & back (Whitefield to Bagmane Tech Park at BLR)
Riding Style: Safe but Extreme (Bangalore traffic makes me mentally sick)
                            Major or Minor Issues: None
                            Modifications: None
Long Rides: None and do not intend to until and unless a necessity

Vibrations: Yes there are at lower gears and at Bangalore Roads in spite of Riding Gloves.
                            Riding Dynamics: Excellent
Mileage: Not something to write about and compensated with Bigger Tyres.

Had been Riding Two wheelers since ages but from 2000 onwards on regular basis.
                            Periodically have ridden CBZ, Ninja300, Duke200, Pulsar220, ZMR, GSR150, R15V2.

Frankly speaking had a higher expectation from Gixxer after coming through these Bikes.
But there are some small amount of drawbacks from my view point again personal.

Although would rate a healthy 8 on a scale of 10 from City Traffic view point and serves my purpose .

Any questions and arguments are WELCOME.
                            Ride Safe, Wear Safety Gears.
34567 kms and ZMR sold :(

                              Hey dude control urself.

Like the other member mentioned the gs150 r is way smoother than the gixxer its a fact.
Its not the matter of new engine & old engine . Its the engine character and refinement levels that describes the smoothness & refinement of the engine.
Gixxers engine is designed in a sporty rev happy manner were as the gs150r engine is meant for comfortable crusing & very commuter friendly purpose.
My friends 20k old gs150r is very smoother than my 8.5k old gixxer. I felt the good amount of smoothness only at the initial days hardly about for 500-1k kms after that the smoothness levels are gone down not drastically but i can feel the smoothness is lost up to some extent now the engine sounds more grunty than smoothly.
My friend doesnt maintain his bike properly he even dont know when was the last time that the engine oil had changed & also he drives his bike in a rude & harsh way.
No warming of the engine at the early morning hours or after the very long usage intervals he just starts the engine and zooms away with hard acceleration but still that engine is very smooth than our gixxers engine.
