They will replace it with free of cost man no electronic bill nothing.
Just shout on the svc people regarding the gear shift issue if they are really helpless lodge a complaint to suzuki in thier website.

Those who are facing very hard shifts & gears not engaging freely in thier respective slots just go to your nearest svc & ask them to change the clutch spring thats it. No need to wait till 2k kms thinking that the gears will become supersoft after crossing 2k kms.

The only thing I can't understand is why people who spend close to 1 lakh on a bike are being so stingy about protecting their heads! Don't want to start an argument here btw.
Ofcourse i bought a new one kyt rc seven for 3.5 k. Uses autogreen very rarely, it got the shade edge broken thats all.

Performance is awesome. Getting smoother with each passing day. The exhaust note is sounding better and better.

                Hi friends,

I am confused between FZ 2.0 Fi and Suzuki Gixxer. My usage profile is as follows :

Daily around 12km drive (flat to office). Around 180km drive on weekends (visiting my native). I usually drive between 55-65 but on highways (on weekends when going to my native) I want maximum comfortable speed possible. So far reading the comments (yes I have completed reading 199 pages of this thread ) and many other reviews I am in love with Gixxer. I am from Kerala, more exactly from Kochi. Here FZ is ruling the town. Every one owns it. I have no idea about how good is suzuki's service here. None of my friends uses Suzuki models. Do I look odd if I get this one ?

Depends on how you look at it?
You may look the 'odd' one out or you may be unique!

A lot depends on the service center present in your area and its competence!

Yes it definitely would! But then SVC does matter. After sales and service are more important than just getting the bike. You don't want to be stranded later due to scarcity of help.

I'm going to reach 1600kms soon. I intend to change the engine oil. Which oil should I change to and why? Any pros/cons of the oils you suggest are welcome.
You see things vacationing on a motorcycle in a way that is completely different from any other. In a car you're always in a compartment, and because you're used to it you don't realize that through that car window everything you see is just more TV. You're a passive observer and it is all moving by you boringly in a frame. ~Robert Pirsig

                              I have tried
Mobil mineral oil 10w40 (500-1000) Nothing good about this oil.
                              Total Quartz 9000 5w40 (1000-1700) and (2600-2900) Smoother gearshifts
Honda Throttle 10w30 (1700-2600) Crispier but noisy engine
                              Mobil Delvac 1400 15w40 (2900- ) Covered only 30kms.....can't review this yet.

I have already posted dual tone Gixxer pics in the past(don't remember the page no here) taken from a fb group! Apparently that guy was from West Bengal too. Seems like only dealers in West Bengal and doing this mod for and extra 1000 rupees before selling the bike. Tried convincing my dealer in Bangalore but he didn't want to do it when I bought mine.

any reason as to why you are changing engine oils at such a high frequency?

                                5 oil changes within 3000 kms? :O
