Completed my first service at 670km. Gearshifts now seem to be smoother, no issues with the bike whatsoever.

Here are some snaps of my white gixxer taken on the first day.
Bike has now completed 1650 odd kms in 25 days. Getting smoother by the day.

          Hi vjay

Acceleration level is just the throttle you swing in. It respond to the action immediately if you set it without ply. To adjust ply, check acceleration cable from top ( near throttle ) there is a rubber covered the lock nut & u can adjust it as per your requirement. But keep some normal ply ( looseness)
Throttle free play won't have any impact in mileage unless the throttle is too tight causing the bike to rev unnecessarily with an increased idling RPM.

For 1.8k you can get studds shifer double visor helmet. Within 1.5 k there are basic models from all manufactures,Don't know about the quality. Also you can check studds rhyno. If you like motocross style then there is autogreen for 1.3 k. Autogreen helmets are made from broken cds and dvds light in weight but strong. I have it and met with two accidents still helmet is rock solid.

Any link?? Also Rhyno has very short lifespan because the screws come out easily...

You met with two accidents using the same helmet and you are still using it? Not a good idea mate. Get a new one. You wouldn't be able to see anything on the outer shell but the inner shell would have taken the impact and wouldn't be visible outside. Protection will not be the same next time if you had bad luck.

The only thing I can't understand is why people who spend close to 1 lakh on a bike are being so stingy about protecting their heads! Don't want to start an argument here btw.

That's because your bike takes you to interesting places that help you forget your troubles while your head takes you to places that are the cause of all your troubles!!

Buddy even me also faced the same problem like all of u are facing regarding gear shifts. Reported the same thing in the svc in a very angry tone they changed the clutch spring at that time my bike was just 150kms old. All the gear shifting problems vanished & now at 1800k kms (one month old) the gear shifts are butter smooth.
