hi all thanks for accepting me...i am following this thread since 2014 and reading reviews feedback from you guys i recently got my blue gixxer i waited till Jan to get those niggles of paint and rust issue solved finally got my bike on 24th march as per the VIN bike was Jan manufactured and as per date on mono its 17 jan and i have been facing the same issues mentioned here on thread
1)Gears are not sitting properly while downshifting specially from 3<4<5 and hard shifts at 5th gear

2)front disc was not letting the wheel rotate free if i put bike on center stand and turn the wheel on clockwise its stopping like break applied even before the 3/4th of clockwise circle

          3)clutch was hard side bit

The bike was just done 370km does anybody faced same issues?what's the solution you got from SVC?

Front wheel won't rotate freely for any bike with disc brake in front. But still if you feel its tight, check with SVC.

As satson said regarding front brake.
Was also getting similar brake shoe rubbing sound when bike was new, but now its completely gone, needs a bit of wear to set in. Keep varying speeds and use front brake at various pressure levels. That's what I did.

Honestly, I was facing similar issues, and found them totally gone at ~1600-1800 kms.

The bike just needs some time and wear/tear to loosen up. That's all the advice I can give you.

6k is the max after 1st service. But I suggest try 6k very rarely. Try to do this till you reach 5k kms. Sure engine will last long.

As others have pointed below, ride below 7.5k rpm. Make sure you ride smoothly without much sudden bursts of speed. Try to accelerate smooth till the next oil change.

The above pic clearly shows that during hard front braking or sudden hitting of potholes the front mudguard is having contact with crash bar installed. But not heard any sound during riding, identified @ the time of cleaning. Anyone is facing same issue. Kindly check urs...

After using my bike for 4 months and 5000 kms I have still not got any solution or any answer for the vibe my bike give in between 4.5k to 5k rpm.
I visited 2 service station here in ahmedabad.
First one totally ignored that vibe, telling me that there is no vibe and all stuff.
Second one initially identified that vibe but at the end of the day he game me answer that thay vibe comes from chain, and when I asked why only on 4.5k to 5k rpm he still says same script!
