Contrary to popular belief, reserve to reserve method is highly inaccurate.
Full tank to next full tank is ideal, because it gives you a true mileage across different riding conditions. It is also fairly accurate.
Never do a reserve to reserve. That is my suggestion.

And what is the difference between reserve to reserve method and tankful to tankful method ? :/

          Fluctuations.
Indicated reserve is never accurate or at a constant amount of fuel. An indicated reserve can come when there are x +-y litres in the tank.
Full tank to full tank is the absolutely accurate method.

Its just more accurate, is all.
You won't have wildly fluctuating figures where one says 40 and another 55-60.
Over full tank...these figures will avg. Out and give you a true performance avg.

I for one find reserve to reserve pretty accurate. Always shows the exact figures.

                  Next time...do your reserve method.
Then do full tank to tank and compare the figures.
The full tank figure is always a better representation.

Well. Let me explain it this way. Say your reserve comes at 2L. You're on your way home from office and the bike hits reserve. First, one cannot say if there are 2 litres in the tank or 2.2 or 1.8 .
Now, it may not be necessary that you get a petrol pump in the immediate vicinity. You ride ahead for few km. How do you now calculate the amount of fuel left?
                    You can only guess, right?
Will full tank method there is nothing to guess at all.

                        Funny incident people [emoji13]
I scraped my gear paddle along a plantation wall and it got twisted.. since i was in college the only way was to get to a roadside mechanic which my gf suggested(I was planning to go to Suzuki).. So i took it there.. there were some other boys with pulsars n all.. as i entered all started to stare.. i went to one of the mechanic boys n told him the problem.. he came with his tools n asked.. "is this a 150cc bike?" I told yea n he began working.. and the other people started murmuring n whispering...
It was like i brought some alien thing infront of them[emoji23]

Is evaporation of fuel between refills is accounted for in these methods?

                            Hey Guys,

Have got my Blue Gixxer 3 days back. Getting lot of attention and stares for my Gixxer .

At two occasions guys on bike followed to have a proper look of the bike which I noticed from my rear view mirrors and guess what, they were on FZ and P220

But sadly on the day two I lost my rear number plate while riding back home from office, looks like the showroom guys didn't tighten the screws well followed by 2 Punctures in rear tyre

Yet am all satisfied with the way bike is performing so far and the attention am getting.

                            Cheers!

Hello guys, my blue gixxy got first service today at 670 Km paid total Rs 430. ( 290 Engine Oil Motul 10w40 + 99 for chain lubrication and cleaning + 42 for oil filter)

Before Service Ideal RPM was set at 1.2 but now after servicing suzuki technician has set it to 1.5 and when i asked him about the same he shown me some paper on which it was mentioned that ideal RPM for gixxer should be 1.6 and that paper was also having ideal RPM details for other suzuki bikes and scooters. Technician said that guideline is from suzuki. So 1.5 Ideal RPM is correct after 1st service ?

second thing is when i bough gixxer 3 weeks back since then i felt handle bar is little bent towards right side but i though that this doubt could be just in my mind, because earlier i was riding pulsar and i always felt that handle was bent. Today while servicing i told the same thing to technician and actually handle was bent towards right. so he fixed it how much he could have but still i feel handle is not completely straight. what i can do for this issue ??

third thing is there is some chain sound coming at lower speeds, i asked technician about this he said as keep on riding chain will settle down and noise will be gone.

What is your feedback on these problems.

Once in a while is OK. You should Rev only after completing 1000 kms.
