A small query ... I'm just heading towards my second service ...still stuck on 2K around running ... Mileage I'm getting is 40 yet Mileage has not been set ... SVC guy said to ride atleast 1.5K ... is it going to increase the Mileage massively after the service ??

And secondly I've heard allot about chain cleaning but haven't done yet ... so does it really needed to clean it ... and if it really needed than after how many kms should I do it on regular basis ...

You should do a regular chain cleaning @ 500km to 750km on a rainy season and 750km to 1000km in dry season..

Mileage is completely dependent on your riding habbit as to how you accelerate, brake, at what rpm you upshift and downshift. Plenty of factors decide the mileage. Yes post service there will be a bit of improvement but not massive. In the end it comes down to yout riding habbit.

People have managed to squeeze upto 43-45 kmpl when riding very very religiously on a CBR250 and some have managed 25-28 upon hard thrashing.

Coming to chain cleaning and lubing.

If you are running less in rainy season, keep the interval of 750 kms of cleaning and lubing. If running is more keep the interval of 500kms.

Apart from rainy season 1000-1200 kms interval for cleaning and lubing.

        Cheers,
        Sanjay

Just one doubt...if you put that SF engine cover, can you fix the engine/crash guard?? Because I guess not. Its either the crash guard or the SF fairing...can't have both.

I found that the bike has a better hum past 5 k rpm in every gear and since I am still in run in period, I couldn't actually listen to mine.

I envy all others who have gone past this km mark [emoji14]
Those are some really good pics and I envy on how dynamo and you have kept the bikes so spic and span.I am finding it difficult to keep the bike so clean as it rains now and then.any tips [emoji12]

Thanks :P You have the solution bruh, like you said, its difficult to keep it clean in rain :P so I dont take it out to ride in rain and moreover it doesn't rain here, its freaking hot :P

You can get better tips from @Dynamo as he has a white one and it needs more attention. He uses it in dust and heavy traffic everyday for an average of 75km daily :P So he can suggest you ways :P

There is a helmet hook under the seat. The manual says we can use it to fix the helmet ring to it and then close the seat.

Well, is it only for helmets with D-ring? My helmet has a ring which isn't D-ring and it doesn't go in to the hook as I expected. It would be a nice feature if it works!

                        Anyone using it?

                              Hi

First of all thank so you much. I used to wash, clean, extensively during weekends & on week days I just wipe d dusts with wet cloth before I leave to office. I spend only 5 mins & less than that. On weekends I wash with diluted pril. Later I apply moto max. I used to clean d chain every 750 kms ie every 20-25 days. Since my usage is high I've to strictly clean every weekend. Yesterday I cleaned my chain with diesel & lubed it. First allocate some time & it is an art. Normally most of them will not spend hours in cleaning. I allocate max 4 hrs.

Here our SVC charge Rs. 90 i remember. Its very simple & easy. If you are a beginner just watch some chain cleaning videos in youtube & try it yourself. Buy Motul or 3M cleaner & lube for effective results.

Very rightly said.the only time I get is to clean d bike thoroughly on weekends.hence the new bike look is gone. Ya but daily cleaning in these rains are a pain.
