Shifting to neutral when bike is running - this can happen in all bikes if you are not giving proper pressure on the lever while shifting!
There will be a bit more gap between 1 and 2 gears as neutral is between them, so you need a bit more practice I think to slot to 2nd gear from first

      4. 60w bulbs are not recommended

Try changing your shift pattern, make it more quick when shifting from 1 to 2 and vice versa.

60W bulb not recommended? Who said so? Any reason? I am using it in my FZ-S since long time now, no issues till date.
The real beauty lies in throttle's twist!!

Headlight can be replaced, Head cannot be. Wear a helmet.

Okz...I will do it in front of me.
I have few issues which I guess are common
          1. Hard gear shifting
          2. I can switch to neutral gear while running...that should not happen
          3. Engine heating even for small distances like 2-3km
          4. Headlight are insufficient.

          Though m getting 55+ mileage

          Thanks,
          Vijay

Ya mine is also default but the margin is huge. That's y I'm wondering. I drive only within the city close to 50-70 kms a day. No rash drive at all. Maintaining 4.5k RPM till now. If you can post pic of your carb I'll be very grateful.

Maybe the reflector will not bear the heat from the bulb.

it's not the problem with the reflector... the rheostat may get damaged due to higher load...

The reflector may fade with 55/60 but that takes atleast one or two years.
First thing - that is not a rheostat. it is stator/alternator OR it can be RR according to the context. And it will not fail with an additional load of just 30watts.
