    Im ready for it

Before that lets all try to meet with our beast at a point within chennai and have a small drive within chennai.

I bought my gixxer on 24th Jan 2015 and its past 5+ months and im happy with my bike only problem till now from purchase day is Hard Gear Shift even at full clutch ;( and im getting mileage of 50+ till now at all modes of driving.
If the chain is loose, tightening it may resolve the Hard Gear Shift issue. This is common with the CBRs though I'm not sure if it does apply to other bikes because I'm not a techie!

So far finding the gear shifts to be a lot harder than I expected it to be. Especially while shifting from 2nd to third.. Foot is still sore from shifting yesterday.. I know this is a common problem and should go away with time.. Meanwhile I'm gonna be on the lookout for padded shoes.. Does anyone have any suggestions for temporarily dealing with it?
Also I don't plan on riding the bike during the rains.. So would it be alright to remove the rear mudguard?.. My concern is that will it spray water on the back of pillion during small patches of wet and muddy roads?
      Yes and yes.

And don't use mobile phones while riding!
It was a pleasant drive for both of us. No traffic, horns, signals & roads are almost empty. @srinath I was watching your riding posture & that looks nice so i took a snap. Yeah it is risky. I won't try next time.

          Alright! ride safe!

I found that the bike has a better hum past 5 k rpm in every gear and since I am still in run in period, I couldn't actually listen to mine.

I envy all others who have gone past this km mark :P

My bro's Gixxer gives 51-52kmpl after 3rd service in Hyderabad from Chirec school to Image Garden road, Madhapur and with hectic traffic , its a respectable figure for such awesome machine.

Super bro. Sure we all need to catch up some weekend early morning.

Regarding the hard gear shifts, just ensure the chain tightness & lube it every 1000kms. Check the clutch play and adjust. The hard gear shifts will vanish.

I am getting a click kind of noise from the the handlebar or the T frame, its only when i it the disk brakes hard, not on slow braking, i think it the issue with T Frame or ball racer.. Will it be fine if i take my bike for a 600km ride.

                    Kindly suggest

This is too vague to suggest anything.

                          Hi sumanth

Long time no see. I saw ur painting video in YouTube. Thats awesome. You can try the same blue reflective tapes or try white tapes. Other colors may look odd.
