    Debargha,

I have been waiting long(at least 1 year+) for a new dealer came up in my locality because Suzuki has only a dealer at that point of time in Baruipure which is 40 Kms Away from home, then at behala. I have send so many mails to suzuki and suggested them some Central/North Calcutta location. After my each mail regarding dealer network they called me back. Finally happy to see that they have acted well.

Have you experienced same sort of issues ? Have you raised your issue to Suzuki? My experience with Suzuki with this issue that they are listening. It is a good thing.

Owner of the showroom called me yesterday after that mail came from suzuki and showed his dissatisfaction for my activity. I have sent mail to suzuki not for complaining but it was a straight query. I just wanted to clear my confusion.

It may be happened that website price of suzuki is not updated. Because Animesh Suzuki has given me challan of Rs. 90,150 which is only Rs. 850/- less than my paid amount (91,000) . But They have mentioned on road official price as 89,300 and suzuki mentioned 86,994 so this difference has created a lot confusion. which is Rs.2,306 more.

Why I am afraid about service because in all the cases irrespective of any manufacturer any dealer, Bike owner are not allowed to see that what service technicians are doing with bike. So there is a possibility that they can change any good parts of mine with a faulty parts. Sometime it is hard to detect on spot.

Later, post if they had given you proper break up of all the accessories too in the statement of account or invoice.

One should ask them for the breakup.
Yep pramaan Suzuki near vanuvampet. I asked them for breakup they assured me that it will be given when I take delivery. Monday evening I am taking delivery. Once they give me the price details I will post it here.

        Hello fellow gixxerians,

I got my blue Suzuki Gixxer yesterday from Avanish Suzuki, Vijaynagar, Bangalore for 92k.

Been so happy riding this baby

This only issue I face is shifting from gear 1 to neutral. This is mabye because i'm a beginner.
The gear indicator goes blank when I try shifting from 1 to neutral. If I push harder the gear shifts to second. Advice needed!

        Thanks in advance

Is/Was engine on while you are/were attempting to find neutral?

I think there is little use in finding neutral on Gixxer155 unless you want to push it manually or trying a DIY on rear-wheel-assembly.
Bike starts with clutch-disengaged (read clutch lever squeezed/pressed).

And I'm just a little concerned as its my new bike

This is my first bike and I'm a complete beginner.

Sir could you tell me where I can buy a good seat cover in Bangalore?
I don't want the showroom branding on my seat cover.

            Thank you

                  Hi

No need. If you see any rust or dryness in chain then only you need to lube. My chain lube ( 3M brand ) is washed out in rain. So i tried lubing with engine oil which was drained from my gixxer. It works fantastic.

Note: Before lubing just wipe the chain with cotton cloth for removing the dust.

yup you can see VIN code in handle bar( right side)its about 15-16 digits alpha numarical code10th letter or 11th letter denotes the manufacture year and the letter before that is month in my case 10th letter is F which is 2015 for all gixxers manufactured in 2015 will contain F in their 10 and the letter before F i;e 9th is A whic is stands for januray so 9,10 th is AF ,

exactly it happened to me can you up load the quote???i got my gixxer for price mentioned in the website after the complaining to suzuki ...it was fun how i booked the dealer cheating like a string operation ...they quoted me 92k when website price is 87k..charged me with wrong charges like 900 for handling 500 for miror set bla bla other charges 1000 total they charged almost 6000 extra in the name of charges ..i got frustated..took quote from them with innocent face...shooted mail in the night ..next morning got call from suzuki india and other side a guy introduced him self as my state sales manager and he is from delhi ..we had lots of chat about gixxer and i told him how they quoted me and asked him i will buy only if they sell for website price he asked me okay.i will call to them.i said no sir i will go to showroom now they might pretend that they dont know me.i went to show room again asked them to quote they quoted 92k...i asked them any discount?they offered me whole lot of 500/-off ...i said is this final???they said yeah ..immediatly i called the same number the sales guy called me ..he asked me to upload the quote in whatsapp..i did from show room and i was pretedning like im watching bikes...on call he saw whatsapp and he asked me to give phone to sales person...so i went and "sir want to speak to you"they said who "sales manager from delhi suzuki india"and their are damn afraid ann asking me continous questions"who??how you know them""???i said we are customers and he is my friend(the guy from delhi impressed with me)but SA afraid and not taking this call so i told him sir they not taking your .then he told me wait i will call the manager now you wait in showroom ..he called the manager as he was not present in showroom and manger called the SA and surprise they agreed to give the bike for website price and the delhi guy talked with nearly a half an hour later impressed with my attitude and he personally said he will moniter my bike ..and im a new enemy to my dealer now...but now they are very cautious about me and my bike ..if any thing goes wrong i will complain again ..if dealer get contious negative feedback from customers after some time suzuki india will revoke the dealership and give it to others so ..shoot a complaint ...im ever thankfull to pankit modi sir telangana andhra sales manager wonderful guy nice humanbeing

Regarding showroom branding, you can always ask them not do any branding of their showroom whatsoever.

I told my showroom guys and they obliged.
