Engine oil is '10w40'??. Also will ask them to check brake pads and wheel alignment. And also adjust play on the throttle cable(feel my throttle is a bit too much play)
Yes, its Motul(for Suzuki) 10w40. Be there when they change the oil and filter. Check the chain play. Ask them to lube it only after cleaing it.
The sense of freedom these two wheels give can never be matched by anything else...

2nd one looks good if you are changing, but original headlight is still a beauty....

Where did you find those? Second one looks like Darth Vader. Really cool.
You see things vacationing on a motorcycle in a way that is completely different from any other. In a car you're always in a compartment, and because you're used to it you don't realize that through that car window everything you see is just more TV. Everything else functions perfectly though.
me also noticed same issue...dont know why is it so

In addition to the above...are there any pros/cons in delaying the first service? I mean, my odo is at 796, so, should i continue on till its close to ~1000km, any merits/demerits in doing so?

Change the oil and oil filter as soon as possible using first service. Extending till 1000kms can reduce oil circulation due to clogging of filter. First oil change at 500-750kms is good for engine actually since the new oil can ensure proper lubrication compared to earlier one. As for first service, make sure that they use the correct oil grade and quantity. Also make sure they change the oil filter along with oil change. And ask them to lube drive chain after cleaning it. Happy riding..
