Where did you find those? Second one looks like Darth Vader.
Really cool.
You see things vacationing on a motorcycle in a way that is completely different from any other. In a car you're always in a compartment, and because you're used to it you don't realize that through that car window everything you see is just more TV. You're a passive observer and it is all moving by you boringly in a frame. ~Robert Pirsig

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
me also noticed same issue...dont know why is it soOriginally posted by ganjasaurus View PostDo the gear shift indicator works flawlessly when the engine is switched off? I've noticed a peculiar thing in my vehicle & that is the shift indicator doesn't always display anything higher than 2nd gear when the engine is off also when in a traffic signal if I switch off the engine at a higher gear the gear display goes blank many times, although it comes back if I downshift to 2nd or a lower gear. Everything else functions perfectly though.

Nevermind that i have the same bike/same color. Still feel a weird sense of happiness looking at other's picture of their bikes
Despite staring at my bike the whole day
i can still view your pictures, the bike is that good looking. Its serious a stunner in the looks department. Happy riding!!

Hey guys,
I will be taking my bike for her 1st service tomorrow.
Anything of importance to be taken care of and noted. Any suggestions.
Engine oil is '10w40'??. Also will ask them to check brake pads and wheel alignment. And also adjust play on the throttle cable(feel my throttle is a bit too much play)
In addition to the above...are there any pros/cons in delaying the first service? I mean, my odo is at 796, so, should i continue on till its close to ~1000km, any merits/demerits in doing so?
Also,
does the suzuki gixxer 10w40 motul oil above come in any different colored containers, or is the above a good reference.
Any suggestions or pointers to keep track of during first service is appreciated fellas!

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Change the oil and oil filter as soon as possible using first service. Extending till 1000kms can reduce oil circulation due to clogging of filter. First oil change at 500-750kms is good for engine actually since the new oil can ensure proper lubrication compared to earlier one. As for first service, make sure that they use the correct oil grade and quantity. Also make sure they change the oil filter along with oil change. And ask them to lube drive chain after cleaning it. Happy riding..Originally posted by radikel View PostHey guys!
