I need to adjust with shifting the gears. And as no.of people pointed out , The Headlamp is little bit dim and horn is like the one we get in scooters.

Didn't have time to click pics. Will post them soon.

Thanks a lot everyone for your posts, reviews, and discussions. It really helped a lot.

Unfortunately there's no dealer or svc in between Barrackpore & Kalyani. The nearest one is in Chinsurah.

Do the gear shift indicator works flawlessly when the engine is switched off? I've noticed a peculiar thing in my vehicle & that is the shift indicator doesn't always display anything higher than 2nd gear when the engine is off also when in a traffic signal if I switch off the engine at a higher gear the gear display goes blank many times, although it comes back if I downshift to 2nd or a lower gear. Everything else functions perfectly though.

Do you have any information about Hooghly Suzuki (Chinsurah) after sales service? Or in general after sales service of suzuki in Kolkata?

When engine is off, you may have to rotate the rear-wheel a bit to shift through all gears.

If the motorcycle is new, give it some time for the internals to seat properly. Nevertheless, get gear-shift-indicator problem on the job-card while you leave the bike for servicing.

Grease the shift-lever-link-rod joints for smoother shifts.

Location of speed and gear sensor near front sprocket of GS150R.

I am yet to avail 1st service. So, can't comment now. What I can tell you now is they allow people in their workshop & you can see things done in front of you.

Yes, the motorcycle in new, ridden only 100 Km or so. Is the same happened with your GS 150 too? I assume you own one.

-> Feels punchy, took it to max of 5,500 RPM... It was 79Kmph on the speedo in 5th gear... Couldn't resist to keep it @ 4500 RPM as recommended by Suzuki in the Manual... It was a gradual increase in speed & not sudden acceleration, which is think is fair....
-> Bike is @ ease when doing 80 Kmph in 5th Gear... This wasn't the case when i took test ride of Yamaha FZ-S FI, where i felt the engine feels stressed @ 80Kmph..
-> Stock suspension is good... Though reasonably stiff, it doesn't hurt your spine.... Deliberately put it in small & medium pot holes....
-> Braking is good...Though not razor sharp.. I feel this is good... Once you get used to this kind of braking, you know how much time your bike will take to halt...
-> Ergonomics is superb.... Never felt any discomfort after i finished 100 Kms ride....
-> The bike can pull comfortably @ 25Kmph on the speedo in 5th Gear.... Anything less, it will start to snatch...
-> Headlight spread is good... Low beam & high beam needs to be adjusted.... Need to lower the low beam.. Need to read the manual to check for any adjustment's...
-> The bike feels much powerful....Flicking from side to side is just fantastic....
-> Plenty of questions, admiration in traffic signals... If ppl can overlook FZ & say this is beautiful, then defenetly Suzuki needs to be applauded for this effort...
-> But in my opinion, it looks better than FZ.. Especially the creases on the tank, the lovely silencer & the view from the rear make it so much adorable... Am loving it..
-> Paid Rs 660/- as Extended warranty for 3 years.. So totally the bike is covered for 5 yrs from now.....
-> Paid Rs 690/- for IND number plate...

If you have any questions, most welcome....Will try to evaluate based on my understanding & provide feedback.....

Having gone through this thread, there should be no doubt left in your mind as to how this bike rides.

Nevertheless, with regards to comfort(seating, steeering response, suspension, torque/pulling power), this bike is amazing. It pull in 5th all the way down from 25kmph...what more you want.

Very responsive, so its good in avoiding monstrous potholes . Have ridden with heavy pillion, and its equally smooth and responsive. Not even bottomed out on huge speed breakers as few others were claiming.

Its an extremely comfortable/powerful bike, perfect for fast commuting, and occasional highway sprints. Let there be no more doubts about this.

Yes. Your avg. FE might be 3-5 kmpl lower than competition, but in exchange what the bike offers is incredible. You can book the bike with eyes closed. Even the rusting issues are sorted as 'Suzuki' have promised anti-rust coating on all 2015 models.

p.s----also..its a looker for sure this bike. Grabs eyeballs wherever it goes.

Approximately 30 days. It varies from place to place. I haven't got mine & its 3rd week already. [emoji19]

I want to know weather the suzuki service centers are good enough to maintain the gixxer problem free?.

Going to buy it on next month but worried because of the after sales service by suzuki is good enough or not. If the service is bad i will go for the yamaha 2.0 V.

But the gixxer stole my heart in all the aspects right from the styling to performance. But the service is equally important to enjoy the every bit of the riding.

                              Any one????

Good so far. Intially booked the grey colour but at the time of delivery I opted for the black one & they happily accepted my request without a fuss. Suzuki were giving customers freebies like wallets, duffle bags, belts etc. which they say will arrive via courier on a later date. I was desperately looking for a handlebar grip, couldn't find one as accessories other than the leg guard are not available. All in all the overall experience was quite good.
