Aaand second service finished.. Replaced

- Engine Oil
- Oil Filter
- Air Filter
- Fuel Filter
- Spark Plug

These guys took about 4 hours to get it serviced.. Got the chain cleaner and lubed.. Total cost is 1550 bucks..

anybody tried NGK spark plugs.. heard it's great by the local mechanic.. and some guy with a ninja 650 told me that the ixil hyperlow (twin) exhausts are great.. He has a pair & the sound is awesome..

After research, the ixil hyperlows are great fit for the dukes.. can be mounted upon for the RCs as well?? and anyone tried the NGK spark plugs?? are they any good??

1. Which series of NGK? Iridium ones don't offer much in terms of performance. Just feel good factor and nothing else. No harm in using though. G Power series just as good at 1/3rd the price.
2. Twin baffles for a single cylinder? (Assuming twin since they were fit on a N650)

Anyone here upgraded from R15 version 2.0 ?? How much is the difference in riding stance in terms of aggressiveness..?? Also, though I do understand that you don't expect a mileage from a premium bike, still how much I can expect from the bike..??

Riding position is definitely more aggressive than R15 v2 but you can adjusted to it in a few days compared to someone coming from say a fz16. The mileage is pretty similar to R15 and depends a lot on riding conditions, about 32-38kmpl would be a good estimate but you'll miss the bigger fuel tank of the R15.

Service and maintenance will be about 10% higher but running parts of Ktm are priced well compared to the more expensive parts of R15.

Power delivery is lot better and better low down torque compared to R15, so fewer gear changes in city.

I don't own an RC, but opinion is free and so is the choice to take the opinion
The RCs are slightly more aggressive than the R15. Personally I feel R15 is 60% city, 40% track. While the RCs are the other way around - 40% city, 60% track.

Apart from stance, the power band is the major difference. R15 used to build up from like 4-5K rpm. That's not with the RCs, they start pulling from the word "go". If you take it around the track, there is a different way of dealing with R15 while taking a corner compared to an RC because of the power band.

I'd still say the same. I mean, they're good, but they don't provide anything worth 600 bucks that a 150 rupees plug can't provide. Just that they last a bit longer.
