Hey bro can you share a pic of the bag attached on the tank please?

Also would like to know the durability of the suction cup thing, will it come off easily or not.

My current reading is 4500 Km. But since I had my display assembly changed at 3024 Km, the total reading is 7500 Km give or take a few kilometers. It's been a year of riding this magnificent beast and I love every moment I'm on it.

I recently bought RS 200 Black Demon. from next day i have noticed sounds are coming from rear part of wheel after running says like 3-4 kms. the sound is like *quin* *quin* *quin*,sound increases as speed increases . as if something is getting rubbed with something i dont know.. Can someone please assist what might be the problem.anyone have any idea ?

      many thanks

Your brake pads might be rubbing against the disk. Check for marks on the disk. Another test is to run the bike for ~ 1-2 km without using your rear brakes. Then touch the rear disk to see if they are hot. If they are hot, your rear brake pads are coming in contact and might be causing the sound. Also, check if the chain is dry/extra tight. This too is a common source of sound.

PS: please try not using extra large font/bold/red font (especially the combination of all). I almost got blinded looking into the post

Hey guys. I got my RS nearly three weeks ago and i am absolutely in love with this bike. Pulsar brand name has come a long way in terms of quality but still lags behind honda and yamaha. Hopefully, they continue to get better by time and produce world class bikes.
I have a question though for the experienced rs owners. I clocked 450 kms and noticed the changed colour of the disc brake. It is now more black than silver. Is it due to the defected brake pads? They were making a squeaky noise at 32+ speeds. And the mechanic at SVC removed the carbon from the brake pads. The noise was gone but since then i noticed the blackening. Any suggestions what it could be?

Does the black color leave any residue? If yes, then it is probably due to brake pads. If not, the disc plate is defective, better to get it replaced under warranty.

BTW, the holy trinity of any bike is Quality / Performance / Price. At max, you can get only two of them, never all three. KTM/RS200: Performance + Price, but quality missing. Honda CBR/ Yamaha R15: Quality + Performance, but price too high. Honda Unicorn/Shine/ Hero Splendor: Quality + Price, but no performance. What we can ask for is all these options are available for us to choose.

On a side note, RE Classic= neither Quality, nor performance and price too high. Personal opinion, trying to be funny and no brand wars please...

              Thanks
Projector type is H9 for high beam with 60W Osram halogen bulb.
Projector type is H11 for low beam with 55W Osram halogen bulb.

note: for high beam both beam lights up. if u r changing to Hid, then let me know ur modifications so that it will be helpful to me, since i am planning long to upgrade lights.

That is not normal at all. It seems the brake pads are defective. Try cleaning it and see if it comes off.

If it starts accumulating again, get in touch with the SVC and make them change the pads in front of you.

I've never seen brake dust like this before on any bike.

I have tried cleaning it. I am familiar with the brake dust. Only that comes off. The blackened part seems to be permanent and wont come off. Will be taking it to the SVC this week but i guess being in a small town ,the mechanic(as told by them that they have only 1 specialised mechanic for rs) is not that experienced after all. I have been there 2 times already with front brake issue.

I know that feel bro I have the same mechanic situation here.

If they're not able to locate the issue tell them you want new pads and maybe even a new disc under warranty.

                    Cheers mate.

I'll be taking it to the SVC this week and also get my first service. Meanwhile i tried testing my brakes. The brakes are working absolutely fine. It is just the colour that has changed. Possibility of grease or oil on the brake pad which in turn affected the disc?

Maybe bro. Do let us know what's the culprit.

Thanks for pics bro. By front fairing you mean the front headlight housing and visor?

If so, then that part cost me about 1800 bucks including the visor. Hope that helps. Cheers!
