Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
hi aditya 10w40 grade oil is not for our rs200's engine.i use 5100 15w50 grade oil only.and i am 100% sure that the engine oil is not guilty here.its the issue of fueling. thanksOriginally posted by IamAditya View PostThe oil grade for RS is 20w50, i.e MOTUL FS7100.
5100 is semi synthetic with grade 10w40!

Re: Please help me with my bike issues
Figured it out guys.the sound is coming from Sprocket chain noise. and it is noticeable greatly when it has loads or while clmimbing flyvoer or elevated area. mechanic guy says let it be as my bike is is new (run 300km) after 1500 km he will fix it.Originally posted by bluespace View PostHi guys please help me with the issue..i recently bought pulsar rs 200 black.what i noticed when i climb a bridge or some kind of uneven surfaces i can hear sound "chiiii eeeeeeeee"... starts happening from 30-40km/hr speed.and the sound is even present if you turned off engine..and looks like the sound come from front portion of the bike..and the sound is like "chiiii eeeeeeeee" and it goes on...only can be heard while climbing on flyover or high surfaces.used to happen with my previous P135LS also .can anyone tell me what cause the problem ?

Update on front disk squeaking sound
Hello All,
My RS has been suffering from front disk squeaking sound which used to get high pitch as bike speeds up.
Yesterday I checked and filled both front and rear tire with exact pressure according to manual.
And boom squeaking sound gone. I do know that sound is because of bushes which get rub with disc.
But still trust me guys try it once.
Maybe this can help you out.Two bodies!!!

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Guys,
Today, I have experienced tank slapper on my bike,
-As road was clear ahead ,still road was uneven with very small bumps, I accelerated over it (to 80-90) & handle bar started to wobble,
I thought I am going to first time crash today - i then left the accelerator & dint't gave any input, luckily it recovered itself after 10-15 seconds,
As per my experience of riding RS for a year, this bike is very stable ,this was totally unexpected since it always inspired confidence & goes over potholes without shaking.
As I am still new to motorcycles(riding geared bike since an year) Does anyone else experienced this,
if so, since it is very scary please let me know what should be the cause & how it should be avoided in future?

This bike is not made to go over potholes buddy. It's meant to be ridden hard on smooth roads.Originally posted by Hiteshb View PostGuys,

Going over potholes/bumpy roads at 70-80 is asking for trouble. Anything can happen, your alloys may crack, your forks might give up etc. etc. So don't do it.
I have personally never go any higher than 50-60 on bad roads just as a precaution. Ride safe and always ride under your limit.
Cheers.

How much air pressure did you fill?Originally posted by nabin_RS200 View PostHello All,

I think for front tyre pressure is 25 PS
and for REAR (WITH PILLION) 32 PS
did you fill the same amount in both front and rear tyre ?
I m still not sure if filling the tyre with above mentioned air pressure will make the sound goneLast edited by bluespace; 12-14-2016, 09:16 PM.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Hey guys.
Got a few parts replaced on the bike.
Stepper motor
2 Spark plugs
Fuel filter
Only the stepper motor was replaced under warranty and they billed me 600 bucks for the filter and 2 plugs.
However the bike still doesn't start without throttle input after it gets hot. I'm thinking this is a valve clearance issue? What do I need to keep in mind while checking the valves?
Also, does anyone know what size (in mm) the drain bolt is?
Thanks guys.Last edited by Minisoda; 12-18-2016, 05:46 PM.

Have you checked temperature sensors? Are they working properly.Originally posted by Minisoda View PostHey guys.
