Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
My exhaust is making noises like something is broken inside. I've shown it to showroom and they cant answer. They've asked me to replace it but they wont provide a new exhaust and Im tired of trying this option.
Can anybody please suggest me a non-fancy exhaust which wont look like it has been weirdly added separately? Gotta get this fixed before going to Ganpatipule before this monthend.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Hello guys need help.
I have a pulsar Rs200 black color.
When I put the keys to turn on the engine ( I do not start the engine) in the morning , a sharp siren like sound comes from the engine for 2 to 3 seconds
and then disappears. It happens 4 - 5 days a week. Is anyone facing this issue.
Please answer.
Thank You.

This is nothing but the FIsystem. It turns on every time you turn on this ignition. You hear it in the morning mostly because of the low ambient noise. Nothing to worry.Originally posted by Md Adil View PostHello guys need help.

Guys my name is Aditya.
I am from kerala.
Due to the financial issues only had budget for a used RS.
Odo reading was 4560km , 8 months old bike, passion Red. Bought for ₹ 116K
And the journey with the beast will date id amazing.
I was planning to buy a used CBR250 because used ones are available for as low as 85k.
But later droped considering the huge Honda service charges, Sky high spare parts cost and Spare parts are very hard to get, especially the fairing components!!
Finally settled with a RaceSport.
Its a maintenance free bike, apart from engine oil and coolant level checking .
Once in a month visits bajaj SVC to tighten the chain.
Now odo reads 11k kms.
Top speed 151 , had to slowdown!
As Overdrive said stability and security is an asset when you are riding RS200!

Guys.. Need help!
My rear tyre is done, So need to upgrade!
Asked a lot of friends who have upgraded to 150/60 Michelin pilot street radial.
All of them said this bigger tyre has 0 change in performance, both acceleration and topspeed and 0 change in FE.
I was planning for 140/70 so that it can lift the rear a bit up , but later found that it tolerance is exceeds the 3% tolerance.
Coming back to 150/60 the tolerance is well within limit .
But still the tyre being heavy , it should affect the performance right? Atleast by a small margin?
Can i simply upgrade to 150/60 with eyes closed?
Need advice guys!!
Thanks

Re: Tyre change for RS200
If budgetisn't a constraint I'd suggest the Michelin since it's known that the MRF C1 is specifically designed for the Dukes and considering the different geometry of the RS and Duke, maybe the Michelin would be more suitable as they act as a universal make. Correct me if I'm wrong.Originally posted by IamAditya View PostMrf c1 150-/60 or

Yes, I've noticed the similar kind of behavior on my bike too. Earlier I thought this was due too the Bajaj Oil but even on Motul 5100 the same behavior is prevalent.Originally posted by abhilashsaha View PostHi friends does anyone ever noticed slight lag kinda feeling while riding in low rpm speeds. sometime while riding at speeds like 30/40 kmph the bike behaves like it is out of petrol for 1 sec.. please let me know if anyone ever noticed this.thanks
And IamAditya, my point was regarding the difference in design of the bikes not the difference in Models or Brands.

Noticed it, complained about it, got the same response that it happens in all bikes. After that I haven't protested at all.Originally posted by abhilashsaha View PostHi friends does anyone ever noticed slight lag kinda feeling while riding in low rpm speeds. sometime while riding at speeds like 30/40 kmph the bike behaves like it is out of petrol for 1 sec.. please let me know if anyone ever noticed this.thanks
