I have a doubt on solving the vibration of ignition area.

Before asking, let me tell you one thing,i dont have any idea about this ignition sytem, and the hidden things under the key slot.
Sorry if this is a stupid question.

    Q) Is it possible to use the ignition system of any other bike? If possible will that solve the vibration issue?

Guys I need an advice about the projector headlights

During the launch of the RS pulsar they showcased bluish white headlights but we got those halogen colored ones.

Can someone please tell me how to upgrade the current ones to the white projector headlights.

Good news! The problem of battery in my bike is resolved. The cause was the faulty charging coil and the magnet was fine. I think the old battery was also fine and there was no need for replacement. Rs 2,300 wasted . My takeaway from this whole incident are:

          1. If you see the battery indicator blinking, leave everything and rush to the nearest service station. The FI system is powered by the battery and if the battery dies, the bike dies down too. It wont start even by pushing or by jump starting. So, its better to reach the SS before battery is fully dead.

          2. Don't trust the SS with judgment. Get the facts from them and logically form your own hypothesis. Once you have drawn a hypothesis, do some tests that support/reject the hypothesis and finally draw an inference.

Hey guys... I got a used rs 200abs..18k odo for 1lac.. The thing is the service book is not up to date...so I have no idea what all stuff are done and what's not.. Also.. There is coolant leak... I tried to figure out where the coolant leak might be.. But I couldn't find it because of the fairing.. Any thoughts on where and why this could this be happening.. And any solutions for the mirror vibrations.. I totally depend on the mirrors and the vibrations are making it impossible to see the sides.. Thank y'all..

Hi bro.. Congrats on your bike.

Regarding coolant leak, do not do anything on your own as it's risky. Get it to a service center or your trusted mechanic.

Mirror vibration can be eliminated by inserting a rubber washer between the allen screw. I did it myself. And vibration reduced noticeably.

Yes just GOING to change it.

I would like to know two things,

                Which oil do you use?

And is there anything wrong, if i switch back to Bajaj dtsi oil as they realy recommend that oil?

                ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

Bajaj says that their oil can be used for 10,000 kms,
After seeing the Vikas Rachamalla vlog on Engine oil, i am very confused,
He even said that mineral oils can last till 10,000-12000kms.

From somewhere I heard that , FS oil can cause issues to the engine in longer Run, because bajaj recommends Bajaj oil is the most suitable one for RS200.

What is your opinion on this?

                ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

Vikas Sir uses mineral oil for his 1000cc super bike 😐 yes its a 15year old bike, so old tech.

But still what if RS200 engine was designed for a Mineral oil?
Pardon me for butting in, but engines aren't designed for either mineral or synthetic oils, because both work absolutely fine. It's the grade which is selected based on the oil galleys in the engine and atmospheric conditions.

The rumors that mineral or synthetic oil will damage the engine are false. Synthetic oils were developed only recently, and before they became commonly available and used, even the zx14r the Hayabusa and the liter bikes used pure mineral oils. Infact, on forums you would find many 14R users who regularly use and praise the Shell Rimula HDEO Desiel engine oil in their vehicles. That's right - a diesel mineral engine oil used in a ~1400cc engine with 192 bhp?

It's important to know what the bikers who have gone before us use, their experiences would Trump most theories about engine oil any day.

                    Hi mates..

Any suggestions for the seat rigidness. Because it's so uncomfortable for a long run.

Recently i went on a trip of 400 kms with friends. For every 30-40kms i had to switch bike. The bike gives so much fun riding but the seat ruins it.

                    Any suggestions please..

Seat is not soft or cushy, but its not that hard i think, i feel comfortable on it.

You will also get used to it.
                      Cheers.

Yup.. Me too. It wasn't there upto 3500kms. After completing second service it started to appear. But in the internet they say it's normal.

P.S: New models have black end cover in the silencer. So this oil spits can't be seen. Clever move.
