I love my RS200 very much,
Except for chain lubing and washing/cleaing no other maintenance .
Afterall... No shortage in performance, Nothing can match the performance of RS200 at that price point.
Not facing any noticeable vibration on fairing also.

Only vibration i feel is from the Ignition slot, i think thats because am very rough and hurry on putting the key inside.

Stability and braking, these are the best points of RS200 in my opinion, other thing i lover very much is the stock exhaust note combined with the intake sound post 6k RPM 👌👌

I too get that. I'm now going to put rubber or double sided tape in there once I find it.

        Cheers!

Please share any image of clip if you have it,whenever you take your fairing off.(for me double sided tape is doing its job well which i applied myself)

            Aside,
I am learning maintenance myself to reduce dependability on these SVC. As my experience is not great with them,
on my last service gave them single task of changing oil & they kept fairing screws loose, which 2 of them fall on the way back.
On recent service gave them only task of adjusting chain slack & they over-tighten it & now chain started making noises(hope my bearings or chain fine)-wheel feels jammed, now am going to get proper wheel spanner(toolkit is useless) & re-adjust myself .

If anyone knows different thin wall spanner socket sizes(mm) required for accessing both spark plugs please share so I can search for them.

There is some short in the wiring that is draining the battery. As of now, SS ppl have taken the bike back to SS and are testing the wiring. Will be calling them in another 30 min. Will keep members posted on the outcome.

I hope this does not happen to anybody else. Good thing was that the breakdown happened while I had not reached the highway and I could find a shop to park the bike. If on highway, I don't know what I would have done since there are no shops/houses on highway. BTW the SS fellow told me there were two other similar instances within past three days.

(PS: For folks from Mumbai, I am referring to the Eastern Express Highway: From Ghatkopar to Thane)
Since,we don't have kick in our bike it is very scary experience which i don't want to feel (Although I experienced pushing my kinetic 2 kilometers in night time on breakdown).

Aside- If wiring is fine also get your voltage regulator checked which was problem in my friend's avenger case.

              Hi,

Regarding Ignition key slot noise/vibration please refer to my post.

This issue cannot be fixed easily.

I talked to a guy who owns 200NS he too was complaining about that sound from the ignition key hole. He said he even got a completely new set but even that started buzzing. I don't see any solution to this since there is not much we can do here because of space limitations. We'll just have to live with it I guess.

In the photo you could see small 3M tape- red colour one. The noise came from that area only.(There was some gap between two metal parts which was making that noise). So I placed tape there and did many tests on my own. After satisfying with the result I put back into the bike. I am not getting any noise from ignition switch. As you said limited space to get access, it is a very painful task.

How do I get that thing out completely like that?!

Seems like it'll be a major pain in the rear and if the noise isn't fixed it'll all be for nothing.

                        Why Bajaj why?

My Bike's engine is heating like hell within 2kms.. Anybody is having the same issue?

I inspected the coolant oil tank.. Collant level is too low. That maybe the issue?

Coolant low can be the issue.
First do the top up, then see.

I removed the front unit to fix the thud noise. So it was easy for me to remove. It will be very difficult to remove that untill unless using some special tool.

                                1) If the bike is new it is normal of heating up engine early . In traffic condition engine usually heats up normally . (we can feel heat near our legs)
                                2) In normal functioning- Once the temperature hits specific mark You can hear the whining sound of FAN (which cools down the radiator coolant),
If Fan is starting nothing to worry, if not then get it checked in SVC,(seen one case where FAN was not turning on causing overheat-but Bike was stalling in that case).

                                3) Coolant level does't go down easily unless there is some overheating issue, leakage or you keep opening the cap/loose cap when engine is hot(boiling coolant) causes it to evaporate.
                                i) It could be low coolant filled from factory itself which was my case,so I just refilled it.
ii) In extreme case -Check the engine oil color/ level from inspection window, coolant in some cases leaks into oil, which is serious problem I have seen 2 cases of same.
