If a guy says something like revv bombing, we self righteous people correct him by saying join ISIS, what kind of forum is this and how does this kind of things go un noticed by the mods, I mean seriously guys if a guy made joke about revv bombing and everyone is so offended then what about these kind of comments? Seriously out of this forum for good.

Intolerance has indeed increased in our country. I guess the post you're referring to was made in a lighter vein!

In case the post still offends you, you should report the post. Now, the report post button is inactive due to back-end issues, you can tag/PM any of the mods.
No one would stop you from leaving the forum anyways. Such things are best laughed off and one should come to any online community with an open mind.

Intolerant India is getting on the forum too. Little fun is not a bad thing and if in that process we are helping a rider in not killing his bike, then whats the harm.

amarme001, chillax bro. Nobody has offended anyone. It was the guy who has a strong belief that rev bombing works better than horn.

I guess nobody has passed/overtaken you in full revvs. It does scare you, no matter you have titanium balls. And the guy scaring local folks, imagine the state of the heart when somebody does that to old people and young children on roads. Even us young guys skip a beat when something of this sort happens.

I am sure, many of us have faced a bit of terror when any of the chap has overtaken in full revvs.

The guy enjoys as well scaring the people by revving the engine, so he is going to get a bit of bashing.

Cheers,
Sanjay

I was just asking about rev bomb and this crazy guy talks about joining Isis.. what are u stupid?
Mr sanjay I don't drive a Nuda 900, to make u skip ur heartbeat. I only rev when some egoistic youngstrs don't move out of the way. I should have had mentioned it earlier.
And I have the sense not to scare senior citizens and small kids.

You know every bike comes with a horn . Its a device made to let people know that you are there and asking them to bn move out of the way.
And if you remove your attitude away, you can easily find the button for it on the left hand switch gear panel of your bike.

And you called someone crazy on this forum, dont invite a ban on you kid.

P.S Looks like you are a RJ fan or you have less idea that not only Nuda makes loud sound.

hi all...

jokes aside but yeah rev bombing does make you gasp like when a four wheeler crosses you within inches.
or a loud horn.
In my experience people do give way even on applying stock horns, and if someone unnecessarily indulge in rev bombing then he is no better than those producing loud bullet farts on enfield bikes. Anyways to each his own, they will get whats coming to them......one day it will just go - Kaput.

I have loved rev bombing only once so far in my life but then the guy was on a Hayabusa........... and that's when it dawned upon me that Superbikes don't possess Horns so THIS is how they are supposed to make a headway ( i was not a part of xbhp at that time )

cheers & ride safe.

Besides all these isis talks and all. I still couldn't understand what rev bombing means.
I have heard nuclear bombs, hydrogen bombs, worlds most powerful bomb tsar bomb.
But rev bomb?

If its related to biking then in my 15 years of biking I haven't heard or seen rev bomb.
Can somebody enlighten me?

Hi, Yesterday I cleaned the chain and I was not able to clean it fully. Still I can see some dirt. After cleaning the chain I started the engine and it was running in the first gear and it made "kadak kadak" noise. So I adjusted the chain slack. Earlier It was 27.5 and now I have made it to 28 (strange noise gone). But I felt significant improvement while riding (May be psychological).

I use Motul chain clean, tooth brush and cloth. I could hear sand noise.

Is there any better way to clean fully?

I lube it very less. Because I want to remove the dirt fully.

Not lubing is equivalent to dry chain which is bad.

Yes. You are correct. I am waiting for your valuable suggestions. So that I can clean it properly and lube it with full satisfaction. I haven't dried the chain. The brush is not helping fully.

What they are referring to when they say "Rev Bombing" is that while riding you yank the clutch and rev the motor hard so as to make a loud revving sound which might scare people away from the road.
