So, from my personal experience I don't feel the need to use flush when changing oil types. According to me engine flush is needed for very ill maintained engine or bikes which have been unused for months or years together, which have lots of deposits, impurities, inside the engine. The new engine has lot of particles during the early stages, but the particles are suspended in engine oil and not deposited in corners of engine. As a precaution, I go step by step as from mineral-->semisynthetic-->synthetic, slowly making the engine to get used to high revs and also increased oil change interval. Just keep in mind that oil grade should be same(20w50 for our rs200).
No worries, thank you for your suggestion. I'll keep these points in mind.

I'm 5.10 weigh 90kgs I test drove the rs found it difficult to manage in traffic. You get the feeling of sitting on an elephant onboard the RS.

                      (150/60 may turn to 140/70)
And if contact patch remains same then its Of NO use.
Is it possible to fit the Ktm duke 200 rear rim? From what i read the duke comes with 4"x17" rim vs 3.5"x 17" of the NS200, which should be similar to the RS200.
If it is possible to fit the Duke rear wheel on the NS then it will possible for the RS200 as well and will solve the problem.

Overall I am happy with its performance and looks.

Right now I am getting 35kmpl. Roughly I was telling there might be 3kmpl drop in mileage. I will check it with the new one.
Congratulations on being the first to get the 150/60 tyre.
Since yours is the first RS200 with the bigger rear wheel, no body could give your prior info about how it will behave. There was not much info in the NS200 thread about people changing the rim to accommodate the 150/60 tyre. You are sort of our guinea pig, going where no RS200 has gone before

As i posted above, if its possible to swap the Duke 200 rim then your good to go. If you find the narrower rim causing too much rounding of the 150/60 tyre and thus negating the wider contact patch of the 150/60, then i guess with stock rim best upsize would be 140/60, 140/70.

Do keep us posted on cornering grip, mileage etc as you cover more miles.

                      Regards.

                          Thanks Rambo.

Changing the tyre will not cost more and it will be manageable to pay and if I don't like the new tyre easily I can go for the stock one. But If i want to change the rim, first of all it will cost more and I have to change the rim for front as well. So I will not change the rim. All are lessons learnt. Anyways the other users might have got awareness.

Could you please share what problems you had while riding the bike. Also, if you don't mind me asking, what was the price you sold it for and ODO reading?

No major issues, but everything is there for looks and very less things are actually there to serve a purpose.

Handling is heavy and gives pain in traffic.

                              Lights are useless in city.

Sitting position is awkward as u can crouch which would feel unreal and u can sit straight which will give you neck and wrist pain.

Wind protection is minimal due to odd sitting position.

Service is a nightmare, will buy any other brand but won't buy a bajaj again because of pathetic useless service.

KTM still has some good service because of different bay and dedicated service person.

But pulsar has become like a ct 100, I don't mean to demean mass production bikes, but RS and NS are complicated bikes and deserve a dedicated team of professionals.

Freaking out of the world depreciation, I mean it's close to 5000 INR a month u loose as depreciation on the bike.

                              Things I like is :

Power and sound post 7k rpm

Affordable and accessible and something you can live with.

Great mileage but punny tank for the sheer weight of this thing.

My personal opinion is to stick to stock Rim and tyre size,
If you want to lean and you only ride on highways upgrade to radial soft tyres,
If you want to tour and ride to like on bumpy, uneven, unpredictable and some offroading go with medium radial,(Revz is easy upgrade).
If you live in city and if you are using it like a commuter stick to to stock(zapper)

While leaning or cornering most of the grip comes from front tyre,
                                So change both.
