It depends upon model to model basis. The engineers know, what to put in machine and why? May it is one of the safety feature, as if on side stand, you start a bike with gear ON, then one may end up jerking or falling of the bike.Originally posted by GauravD View Posthmmm seems to be a case special to the RS because I have an NS and it sure well starts on the side stand with the gear on, if you try it.
And for all RS owners, I have posted a Blog long before for everyone to enjoy, it seems everybody here is busy solving theirs problems related to bikes and troubleshooting.

Can front brake in ABS variant be tweaked??Originally posted by sevendustankit View PostHi morning guys ...
Just want to ask if you all have problem with front brakes...I mean it need a little more bite..
Back gear is good in fact more than good...
But somehow front lacks proper bite..is this bcoz of abs..

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
You can do one modification, remove the ABS itself. Lol... Then the bite would be fine... The ABS is there just not to let your front tires skid according to the pressure applied. So it does its purpose well enough... Hence, nothing can be done.Originally posted by milan2377 View PostCan front brake in ABS variant be tweaked??

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
I completed 10,000 km 2 weeks back.

Bike is fine, expect the fact that right mirror vibrates heavily to the extend that it makes noises when the bike is between 4-5.5 rpm. Really sad because of this. It somehow is related to gear, when the gear is tightened, the vibrations are almost gone, but come back after 200km.
Any solution on this?

Check the threads of gear...gear should not get loose so frequently.Originally posted by iSumit View PostI completed 10,000 km 2 weeks back.

Even though my Night Fury has ABS, i can easily do stoppie and burnout

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Guys I want to know why I am getting vibrations on footpegs while normal braking and downshifting of gears in traffic. The vibrations are followed by some kind of "ghnnn ghnnn" sound. Told this at the svc and there the mechanic said its normal. I am sure that the mechanic was not able to understand the problem. I was not experiencing this before the first service. Anyone having this problem?

Dont go for Teflon coating please, it will make your bike paint dull after few months.Originally posted by saurabhp View PostHey guys plz suggest any option to avoid scratches due to rubbing of belt and jaclet zips on the tank of RS..?
Mine is yellow one so they are more visible now..
Best thing would be to cover the portion of contact with Some decal/graphic or put a rubber design over tank.
My best option would be a new graphic design on the portion where you see scratches.
Check if footpegs are greased n tighten properly.Originally posted by Rover200 View PostGuys I want to know why I am getting vibrations on footpegs while normal braking and downshifting of gears in traffic. Seems strange...but footpegs won't make any such noise, as during servicing they dont touch it.
Maybe they might have not greased it during servicing.

Footpegs are not making noise. Dnt know from where the sound is coming but it comes whenever I try to stop my bike in traffic while downshifting the gears and braking and at that time only footpeg vibrates for a second. Maybe gearbox needs some lubrication.Originally posted by milan2377 View PostDont go for Teflon coating please, it will make your bike paint dull after few months.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
I am facing the same problem. That sound I feel it is normal, because the RPM may be slightly high( around 3k). I feel the footpeg vibration while revving up and down. I have asked the same issues in forum many times. But no response. While service I told them to rectify it they just tightened the clamps in the footpegs. But vibration still exist. I suspect mono shock if we adjust this problem may vanish. Because I have experienced this in my 220. After adjusting the shock absorber footpeg vibration vanished. Shock absorber adjustment I have made it soft.Originally posted by Rover200 View PostFootpegs are not making noise.
