[QUOTE=abhilashsaha;1212523]Hey, I was talking about this obd port which is for ecu diagnosis. It used to hang and bang with the front mud guard thus making that thud noise.

When this obd port hangs out of its place it cause a thud sound that can be heard even u ride thru a small bump or pit at less than 5 km/hr.. thats not the same thud we usually talk about.. it will be heard only when u take a bump at bit higher like 10km/hr.. i took my bike from svc three days back and i had to take it back to fix this port from hanging...

The thud noise which used to happen doesn't happen now.i rectified it by tieing the obd port to the nearest rod .and the thud noise was stopped from then. I am loving every bits of this fantastic motorcycle. Bt there r two things which is bothering me. One is when I am going to slow down for bumper or crawling through traffic slowly then if I pull the clutch all the way and leaving off the throttle the rpm is raising it self to 2.5k and then it is coming down to idle rpm which is approximately 1.8/1.5 k. Is anyone facing this kind of symptoms.? And at the cold start the rpm raises above 2k then in 2/3secs its coming down . And another thing is I m hearing a tiktik noise from the engine during cold idle too . currently running on motul 5100. So guys let me know if anyone is having this symptoms too..thnks in advance. .snd sorry for this big post.
The bike is controlled by ecu and ecu works on a very different way than carburetor.at the start of the day when the engine is cold you might see a rise in rpm.its basically the same as manually increasing the rpm.
When the rpm reaches all of a sudden to 2.5k after you press the clutch that means something may be wrong with the state of tuning.I would suggest you to flash the ecu to SVC and see if it fixes

Yes I can understand the cold start and the raised rpm.bt the case of rpm surge while pressing cluth in slow speeds is common with 3 more rs 200 riders.i hv taken to svc for this issue too bt they don't have any solution for this.i also think ecu flash might resolve this bt the bosch diagnosis tool they have is not capable for flashing ecu.

I didn't have any connector hanging like that. Two connectors were there and that too got placed properly. I suspect circuit board of instrument cluster. I tied loose wires with cable tie. Everything seems to be perfect. Only culprit left behind is instrument cluster. That is very hard to unscrew otherwise I would have checked that also. As per xbhp terms and conditions please avoid SMS language.

Oops sorry bro ... in my case thud noise was stopped after tieing that hanging port.
How many guys are having the rpm raise and down while slowing down pulling full clutch. I have talked 3 rs200 riders in my local place, they also have the said rpm raise issue. Is it common for you guys too ?

Yes I may drop an email regarding this issue. And the particular issue is also present with the other 3 rs200 which I have talked with their owners.

Happens on my bike as well. The ECU raises the RPM of the engine to prevent it from stalling.

Just make sure you don't let the RPM go down below 2K otherwise after you pull the clutch in the RPMs will rise to prevent the engine from stalling.

It is a very annoying feature.i had zmr , rode friend's r15 too those didn't have this kinda habbit. It is very annoying for me when it happens while crawling in slow traffic where I have to pull the clutch in frequently.

Yes quite annoying indeed. There are a lot of speed bumps where I live so it's irritating for me also. But we can't do anything about it so I guess we have to live with it!
