Why do you want to change the projectors to white?. I understand those angel or demons eyes are really a killer in look. But still, I'd advice to stay away from mods unless you need them. I did change to angels eye projector because my bike had a 60W halogen bulb but still no projector. But yours does have the same halogen with projector lens.

Yes, messing with electrical system for a FI bike is a bit risky if the job is not done well.

Just another solution. You can try Dampmat. I have installed Dampmat in our family car in 2013 and I can assure you that its at par with Dynamat.

I've read that bikes with ECU/FI can have issues when you mess with electrical stuff, but i've also seen a lot of bikes running fine with these mods.

So, i'm hoping someone here has changed the headlights and could shed some light on my question.
Though haven't changed or done such modification but you can get whiter colour by opting for 5000k bulbs. But be advised that you will lose visibility in rain/fog.

Messing with electricals is one thing.. But white projectors easily annoy the on coming trafic.. It's even worse for the guys like me who wears specs.. I easily loose my nerve when I see one because my visibility becomes almost zero...please have mercy on us bro :-)

The bike is running awesome, no rattles or any thud sounds. The tic tic sound that i used to face while going over speed breakers was a loose dangling connector. Safely secured it and now no more sound.
I have not faced any of the Neutral issues reported by a couple of members but sometimes, and only sometimes finding neutral can be a little annoying, a small quirk i guess i can get used to.

Am trying my level best ,whenever i get free time to munch up as many miles as possible so that i can finish up my first service

          Regards

One more thing bro. If you're in Bangalore, you will be fine anywhere from 500-2k for using custom halogen bulbs. They are prohibited here.
            Just a heads up.
            Ride safe.

Well said. But remember, anything on highbeam head to head is risky and will blind your eyes for a sec. Simple thing is avoid high beam on city/one way trip. If required, switch to low beam for a sec to give the opposite vehicle a chance to see their road ahead.

And also avoid high speed riding on night. I usually cut down my cruising speeds to 70-80 max at night if the road is visible well.

Does anyone knows how to reset service reminder,
Today i got my first service at 440Kms
Now its reading 466Kms and showing service reminder logo, if i call service center, they said 1 method but its not working,
                Keys off-hold mode-keys on- keep hold mode for 10 secs - now service reminder blinks-now press set(S){according to him now it has to vanish}

For me it only blinks but nothing happens even after pressing S..

They've told you the correct method.
Had the same issue during second service.
Took a couple of tries to get the icon off.

                    Regarding Bike..
                    No panel gaps
                    No rattle sound
                    No thud sound
No vibrations at any Rpms after 100Kms
Even im not maintaining the speed limit given by bajaj,
[dont keep constant 3.5-4Rpm, if yu forget to change gears constantly it luggs and hurts your engine,
Even dont accelerate aggressively, use engine braking,
I had only one problem..that is rear brake has lot of free play, first 2 cms was just pedal action no braking, so i reduced the free play to 3mm now its fine,
To fix that you have to remove your stubby silence, its time consuming but its worth,
If anyone adjusts dont forget to adjust rear brake light switch]

Hey jbm_guy thanks for the reply!

My area is not prone to theft as my previous post might have suggested (my bad). Rather it is the people here and children who keep messing with our bikes parked downstairs.

This is exactly what happens with the Discover 125, very rarely do I ever find the bike in Neutral. The mirrors are always pointing to the sky because some hotshot decided they wanted to use them as a bathroom mirror. And my neighbors cat has torn up the seat cover by using it as a scratching pole.

It'll be a cold day in Hell when someone messes with my RS. Not gonna let that happen.

Thanks for the disc lock suggestion I might have to get one just in case.

Appreciate the advice and opinions guys. I'm a new rider, the RS being my very first bike i've ridden, ever. The reason i want to change it to white is for visibility mostly. I ride mostly at night because of time constraints. Where i live, there are a lot of "hidden" speedbreakers that just aren't visible under the yellow tints from the headlights and street lights. I'm just not used to riding in these conditions, i've gained a lot of respect for you guys who commute daily on these downright ridiculous roads.

So yeah, i'm hoping switching to a more brighter shade will allow me to spot these bumbs and pot holes before i break my suspension or fly off into the sunset after hitting a speedbreaker at 40kmph

For that, another idea is to buy a good bike cover. Bike cover has a buckle at the bottom sides, which will help it prevent someone pulling it. You can use this meanwhile you build your parking area. Also still you can buy this as this helps prevent unwanted dust or insects like mosquitoes to accumulate. Even helps from cat. Remember, kitten still can get to your seat and tear it with it's paw, it's their habit

I always no matter how hurried or tired, will cover my bike when coming back to home. I have made that as a practice. And I'd advice you to do so. A good cover costs around 500-700. Don't buy cheaper ones on snapdeal, they are very poor in quality and the material will shed out in few months. Buy it in a local shop.

Agreed. RS200 uses Halogen projector setup. So it eats more power. I'm using Angles eye LED projector in my 200NS. The light almost makes everything visible as this is white light. But the problem that I'm facing is, when going over streets or main roads, other vehicles headlight makes the white light to fade out. Also HID or LED projectors don't have low/high beam unlike Halogen. To be best, you have to use either a halogen for low and HID for high(those are costly). Cheaper ones on ebay or amazon will have only one HID bulb or LED bulb but just switches to low/high power for low/high beam.

So in my case too, for low/high beam I simply get the same throw, but on high beam more intensity(I'm not happy with the throw range). High beam is 18W and low beam is 8W. That's almost 6 times lower than sock 55/60W. Since mine is LED, I also get the added advantage of running the high beam even when engine is off for hours, but needs a cooling fan running at the back(Comes with the setup). Some months back, while coming back from Mahabalipuram (Chennai) I had to stop for a call and I turned my headlight on for about 40 minutes in area near a village (pitch black) for testing. It almost lighted up the whole area about 25 feet from bike, even ants became visible.

The end result is better visibility than Halogen but lower than HID, but takes very least amount of battery and longer battery life. HID should take about 35-50W easily.

So if you want to go easy on battery, choose LED projector. But if you want more intensity, choose HID. But make sure you assemble it well, so that it will not introduce glare for the opposite rider.

I bought my bike in chennai on july month. Dealer wasnt ready to give any complimentary benifts. He denied by saying "there is no extra fitting needed for your bike as it is already fully packed also we dont give compliments for the bikes which are under demand".

I am not sure if they are providing now.
