Haven't faced any rattles from the fairing as such.
Coming from a Yamaha engine, find a few engine vibes from the Bajaj single pot but they are manageable.
Would not recommend the CBR150 if you wish to settle for a 150cc engine.
Would be better to go for the tried and testing R15 which is miles ahead in power, quality and reliability in comparison to CBR 150

So, sometimes it is 1st gear with the neutral light glowing and sometimes it is neutral without the neutral light glowing. It only happens when I notice the gear didn't upshifted or downshifted properly. We have to accept the fact that the RS200 doesn't provide the best gear shifts.
Never trust neutral and gear 1. They are very well loosely coupled. Say for example, putting your bike in idle on side stand and chances of bike shifting accidentally to gear 1 is more and can fall down or may hit someone. You don't need clutch to engage neutral to gear 1 especially in idle\neutral. I've experienced that in my discover. At least Bajaj products are not good and the new generation Pulsars are just better than old in gearbox department. Therefore, I never trust neutral and if so, I will do it on main stand only (Say when warming up).

Now, this problem has been common and I have seen it in my old discover and some old gen pulsar as well, say the bike wont engage to gear but the neutral led will also do not glow making us thinking that the bike is in gear. Sometimes, I observed that I have shifted to gear 1 but the engine still wouldn't engage to gear 1 and revs like in neutral. But I have not faced such problems with my 200NS any time till date (Only once when I did a quick shift with improper clutch and gear timing). However false neutral occurs rarely still.

But @Ashish_Yadav your problem is little different from what I have mentioned or @rockstar.ash23 has. You are saying that the started motor works out when the motorcycle is even on gear 1 with empty clutch(released clutch), which means the starter lockout switch has gone faulty and it either needs replacement or repaired. And this is very risky with heavier bikes, because thinking of 165 Kilos weighing machine giving a sudden jerk might throw you down or can hit the near by objects. If you can manage to ride with this till your 1st service (i mean purposefully starting with clutch controlled) get it fixed there.

Any day for any bike, Generally the advice is to start the engine in neutral and not in any gears with clutch depressed. Also to warm up not more than 3-4 minutes which will rapidly heat up the engine.

Power, Extra features, Switchgear if overlooked carefully, you wouldn't even be talking about CBR150 here.

First and foremost, CBR150 is very poor in switch gear and quality (Considering it's premium pricing). I mean it. If you don't believe it, just check out CBR150 model and feel it. Though the indicator lamps buttons are placed a bit awkward in Pulsar, but that's still years better than CBR150. CBR150's poor torque makes you struggle in city, you need to rev harder all day to get the torque which hits mileage and uncomfortable ride, which is something that many don't like. Take Unicorn 160 or Gixxer 155, it will beat it to pulp in City.

Extra features, well nothing, it's actually the opposite. You know what, it in fact lacks in features. It doesn't have some features compared to New Pulsar such as AS\RS. what the heck, it even lacks a pass switch and a Engine kill switch which is mandatory and are available in many street bikes.

Only thing I can think about this CBR150 is that it's from Honda and carries Honda's trusted Engine and Honda Badge. That's all. Though it has slightly better refinements but what to do with so much of lack in power/features/quality?. I can any day live with lesser refinements for these which you can't even notice when riding.

But CBR250 is everywhere better than RS/AS200, no doubt.

A lucky few have got bikes without rattling fairings. In my case, it rattles pretty audibly from day1 of getting the bike. I just did the first service and told the service engineer about it. They didn't do jack shit about it. It rattles as bad after the service. I am planning to put a layer of dynamat underneath to see if it helps.

But other than the fairing, vibrations are very less unlike other pulsars. I could not feel any vibrations at footrest or handlebar till 6K rpm till where I have taken it till now. The engine is indeed smooth.

So I went to my garage, inserted the key in my RS, flipped the kill switch to ON, and saw that the Neutral indicator was glowing green. I usually leave the bike parked in the 1st gear, so how it came into the Neutral position was a question that should have cropped up in my mind. Yet I did not pay attention to what gear the bike actually was in.

Nevertheless, I got on the seat and pressed the starter, and WHOOOSH! The bike immediately leaped forward as if someone had pushed it hard from behind.
This is scary. Even my bike has issue with neutral light. Reported it in first service. Again, nothing was done.

I am pretty much impressed by the ride-ability of the bike, but quality wise I am disappointed. Had to tell them to fix three issues in first service of 500KMs:

          1. Fairing rattle
          2. Neutral light behaves erroneous
          3. Rear view mirror got loose

          Only issue3 got fixed.

Today, I gave my Honda city for the 75,000 Km service and I did not have to tell them any issue other than the regular oil change and stuff.

This is Bajaj's first fullfaired Bike and hence can expect some niggles here and there. It might take some more batches to roll out where things get it fixed well with good QC control. Service centers wont help for these vibrations, and the least they could do for you is, tighten the bolts and might say this model will have this and that....!!!

You can instead find yourself a solution for this.

You can fix the rear view mirror on your own using 4 mm Allen key available in tool kit. You have to remove small black cap at the base of RVM in dome, then tighten it with allen key.

                  Hey congrats bro!

I also may get my RS on Friday. I would've gotten it earlier but since I live in a an area where my bike isn't safe we have decided to build a safe parking space first and then bring the bike. Till then I have requested the SVC to keep the bike in their storage.

                  Wish you many happy miles!

Oops my bad, I am aware about the lack of some features in CBR150R. I should have said ""If power, extra features, switchgear quality (good quality back lit switches with extra features) of RS200 are overlooked"" OR should have said lack of features in CBR150. Thanks for clarifying my doubts bro.

Indeed the wait is killing me also. It's so tempting to just go and get the bike (it already arrived at the dealer on Saturday morning), but I thought what if I park it downstairs and someone messes with it? [emoji32]

But be patient my friend and surely you will be rewarded. Thanks!

Sure anytime. But don't underestimate CBR250. It's still a worthy and a lot better bike any day compared to new Bajaj or KTM products in all aspects except cost. If I've had enough money I'd have bought CBR250 ABS only.

                          Cheers.

Must get a disc lock and to enahance more on safety, some security systems are readily available. If area is prone to theft, then consider security systems first. Moreover lifting the bike isn't as easy as it weighs 165 KGs and hence the security systems will work like a charm.

                            Hello,

Recently after first service I am hearing a sound from the front of my RS200 and I am unable to locate the sound, I had read on this thread people facing the same problem.

Has anyone been able to figure out the location and cause of the sound and are there any solutions?

The sound usually comes when I break and cross a speed bump, It sounds like loud TAK(knock).

                            Thanks in advance.

Update on my so far time spend with the beast, Its a hoot to ride and the engine is a gem(lately seeing lots of great engine being wasted in some awful bodies).

It picks up at very slow pace in all gears and only problem faced apart from the sound is the really bad paint quality, paint is coming off the wheels just like my old pulsar 200 dtsi.

I am planning to do exactly that. Could not get much info on the net. Dynamat USA has some solutions for Harleys. I will put a new DIY thread if I am able to succeed.

I've ordered a pair of aftermarket levers. Will post pics once i receive and install them.

Now, i really want to change the projectors so they're more white/blue than the standard yellow.

I've read that bikes with ECU/FI can have issues when you mess with electrical stuff, but i've also seen a lot of bikes running fine with these mods.

So, i'm hoping someone here has changed the headlights and could shed some light on my question.
