Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Never faced any such issue, it's going to be 8 months approx. Drove it for a max of 200kms at a stretch yet no such issue.Originally posted by yoks91 View PostHi, i am also facing the same problem. I didn't take it seriously initially but now it is appalling. I am thinking it has to do something with fuel pump. Have you sorted this issue out?
Are any RS200 users here facing the same? Suggest something guys

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
it's like water drops but after service 200kms done still whyyy ???Originally posted by Kumar_1417 View PostHi, what kind of fluid is this? Check whether it is water or oil? If it's oil than its point of worry. Sometimes during bike wash by unprofessional people in svc water enter into silencer which comes out. Check the liquid....

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
One interesting observation to share here. This problem never happened to me on my bike, having completed 5000 kms. But when I gave the bike to fellow xBHPian judebrent for a test ride, he said that the bike stalled thrice during a run of ~ 5 km. So, this could be due to the riding style of the rider. On the other hand, if there is a drop in power on lower speeds, it is certainly an issue.Originally posted by amarme001 View PostYes, I am also facing the same problem. Some pages back I asked about the same no one replied.

I agree with you Rachit but I face this engine stalling issue only when I am in first gear and while throttling. First Gear is intended for throttling to pull the machine and I face this issue. I experience this often and I am waiting for a check with SVC during my first service.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Is anyone using body cover for rs200. If so, could you share details of which will suit our bike.
Searched on flipkart, found couple of companies named Adroitz and Autokraftz. Does anyone have any idea on these?

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Even I faced this on rachitsharma2000's bike when in first gear. So just do this in case you aren't already - When lowering gears to come to a stop, hold the clutch and then brake. Sometimes we brake and then immediately go onto the clutch. (Know it sounds crazy) But just try the clutch first and then braking. I experience Rachit's bike shutting down thrice in my 5 km odd ride! Was strange, but he said the bike never stopped with him...Originally posted by madhulmr View PostI agree with you Rachit but I face this engine stalling issue only when I am in first gear and while throttling. Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Seems like the seem issue i am facing. I rode with my friend for around 5 or so odd km and the bike did not stop during ride with him. However with me and another friend, it happened sometimes. Ideally i don't think we should hold the clutch always and keep on throttling for a new bike in good condition, so there may be issue. First 400kms were fine and then this started happening.Originally posted by judebrent View PostEven I faced this on @rachitsharma2000's bike when in first gear. Reason of considering the s: During my first bike service, there was guy who had purchased Pulsar 135 LS and was just 1 day old. He said when he pressed clutch during braking, the bike seems to come to a halt. After discussion with SVC guys, they said we would need 1 hour. I left due to some urgency, however there may be a potential issue there which they may have identified. I will visit the same SVC when i get some time and update my findings.
FYI: My first service costed me only Rs 630.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
If I were new to bikes, I could have said riding style resulted in that, but I don't think after 10 years of riding, the style can cause this issue, not just with me, but with others as well. Maybe just something new for us to learn and get used to!Originally posted by nayan_jindal View PostSeems like the seem issue i am facing. Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Yeah i have no issue with style. In fact many people follow the same and this has worked for me personally without any issues.Originally posted by judebrent View PostIf I were new to bikes, I could have said riding style resulted in that, but I don't think after 10 years of riding, the style can cause this issue, not just with me, but with others as well. Just that if there is some issue that can be rectified was my only concern. Thanks!

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Yess its a real problem!!!
Just check my posts i ve asked this maybe 20days back!!
Thats why i asked is rs200 is Made according to BS4 or BS3 Norms,
It happened to me twice,
First time was when i was taking my bike from showroom it stalled in signal, n heard MC BC from traffic cop,
Then a month back when slowing down to cross speed breaker,
Does it related to fuel adulteration,
Or clogged up fuel filter, or low fuel in tank(im saying this because it happened to me when i had only one Bar in fuel indicator)

Could be, but when I was riding rachitsharma2000's bike, I didn't feel any lag in pickup, just when I reached the signal and got the bike to first gear, that's when the engine cut off!

At what point your bike stalls when you release clutch?is it kind of On-Off clutch or even if u throttle very slowly and release clutch slowly it doesnt stall?Originally posted by judebrent View PostCould be, but when I was riding @rachitsharma2000's bike, I didn't feel any lag in pickup, just when I reached the signal and got the bike to first gear, that's when the engine cut off!
