      It's a world class product. Don't worry.

      Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

          Just a heads up guys.

As some of you may remember I had a strange spot behind the tachometer needle in my instrument cluster. Well the good news is that finally after months the replacement unit has arrived.

Now I'm hesitant to give my bike to these inexperienced mechanics, but I'm also tired of looking at that ugly spot so I'll take my chances and give them the bike on Monday.

The owner of the SVC told me that my odometer will be reset post installation. Is this correct guys? If so, why?

Also, they'll be opening up the front fairing so I'll tell them to look into the "thud" sound as well as the weird buzzing that comes from underneath the display while deceleration.

Anything else I should look out for?

          Thanks guys.

            Hey bro...
Odo meter reading cannot be tampered due to ABS.
If they are opening the front fairing, then just ensure they dont miss something while fitting it back. Also vibes can be taken care of.

Hello guys. My rs is currently on 3200+ kms in odo. The thud noise which used to happen doesn't happen now.i rectified it by tieing the obd port to the nearest rod .and the thud noise was stopped from then. I am loving every bits of this fantastic motorcycle. Bt there r two things which is bothering me. One is when I am going to slow down for bumper or crawling through traffic slowly then if I pull the clutch all the way and leaving off the throttle the rpm is raising it self to 2.5k and then it is coming down to idle rpm which is approximately 1.8/1.5 k. Is anyone facing this kind of symptoms.? And at the cold start the rpm raises above 2k then in 2/3secs its coming down . And another thing is I m hearing a tiktik noise from the engine during cold idle too . currently running on motul 5100. So guys let me know if anyone is having this symptoms too..thnks in advance. .snd sorry for this big post.

                    Hi,
Could you please add some photo for which you tie to rectify the thud noise?
Yesterday I changed the engine oil to Motul 5100.
The RPM goes up and coming down happens usually. Since these RPM controlled by ECU we cannot do anything.
Also tell me how the engine smoothness after using Motul 5100.

Hey, I was talking about this obd port which is for ecu diagnosis. It used to hang and bang with the front mud guard thus making that thud noise.yes I know that it is a ecu controlled bike and we cannot do general tuning.bt I was worried for its unusual nature which is absent in my zmr (sold) . And for 5100 I am using it since 700kms on odo m finding this oil to br very good.my friend having rs200 running on dtsi oil , he says my bike is way smoother and runs cooler than him..I rarely find my radiator fan is running. Do u have that tiktik noise by the way?

I don't get any tilting noise. Thanks for sharing the photo. I will try to rectify it.

Your welcome bro..the tiktik noise is present in 3 rs 200 I have checked. U have to take ur ears near the engine to hear this.i had checked with a ktm service engineer he said it's normal because in a high revving engine the tappets r slightly loose for initial acceleration.
