Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
The darker the colour the better it is,meaning your engine break in is perfect. But there will be a but of roughness in the engine until you change to 7100 from 8000kms.engine becomes smooth post 9000kmsOriginally posted by NARESH BABU K J View Post

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
I need below suggestions,
@All Members :
1. Do Teflon Coating required or not.
2. When is the ideal time say like in a week or month after purchase to do the Teflon coating.
@ Chennai Guys:
1. A Good shop to do STICKER on Windshield/Number Plates/Other minor things in Chennai.
2. If Teflon coating is needed then where to do it in Chennai.
3. Any Riders club for RS200 so far in Chennai ?

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Doesn't happen in a cold start actually. It happens when the engine is hot. I'll try and post a video if I get some time from college bro.Originally posted by abhilashsaha View PostIs it happens during cold start ?? Can you make a video clip ?
Also, something else I noticed is if I accelerate very very slowly the RPMs go down first and then shoot up!
Isn't this completely strange behavior?
Please advise guys. Thanks.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
You can claim it from any bajaj svc, provided you have all the timely service records.Originally posted by Yatheesh S Yashashvi View PostTo claim warranty does we have to visit the showroom where we bought the bike or we can claim warranty from any Bajaj ASC's.

Now what does the 3m coating meanOriginally posted by ananthu View PostGet a 3M coating for that area where the sticker is peeling off. And do it before it peels off a lot, in which case the 3M coating won't be of much help to save the looks.
And from where I can get it done

3M is a brand that takes care of upholstery. Coating and PPF (Paint Protection Film) are their areas of expertise.Originally posted by Sharma Ji View PostNow what does the 3m coating mean
And from where I can get it doneGot a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
I am also facing similar problem. There seems to be a lag between throttle and power delivery. Why is this happening?Originally posted by Minisoda View PostDoesn't happen in a cold start actually. It happens when the engine is hot. I'll try and post a video if I get some time from college bro.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
There is something called throttle response on FI bikes.GEt it cleaned. If you Throttle body is not working properly you will face the below issuesOriginally posted by samurai01 View PostI am also facing similar problem. There seems to be a lag between throttle and power delivery. Why is this happening?
1) Lag in acceleration
2)Vehicle stalls on its own(Lots of RS200 members are facing the same issue)
Get it checked.Even if tis a new bike it doesnt necessarily mean there aint any issues with Throttle body.Might be a manufacturing defect.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Those SVC guys are very naive.specially the bajaj ones.if they give a strange look just tell him sternly as to what he was trained when given the job of servicing the rs.best would be to tell him to clean the throttle body.how or what he does is his headache.and remember never leave your bike there.be on the spot to see of they are cleaningOriginally posted by Minisoda View PostI bet they'll jump astounded if I mention even the word "throttle body". Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Hi guys..I recently serviced my bike from bajaj authorized service centre ( Bannerghatta, bangalore). The things that were done are oil change ,oil filter change, coolant top up and o ring ..I had dropped my bike once at very low speed and there was some damage to the clutch lever and gear lever .I felt that there was a small bend in my handle but i never felt it while riding .So i told the service guys to check whether there was a bend, and to my suprise they told that there was a small bend and to remove it they charged me 1500 /- rs
.And after servicing i feel while riding that my engine has become hard and makes ghrr ghrr sound while decelerating and alot of engine noise too.I told them abt the fairing vibrations and they said nothing can be done to it..Is the ghrr ghrr noise normal after servicing or a bad service?? ..I dont feel that my bike has been serviced due to the ghrr ghrr sound ..I m posting service bill pic ..Help needed
thanx in advance.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Mine getting off too many times these days.. For arresting vibrations fairing need to be removed completely and re fix it.. But they wont do as it is time consuming.. My mechanic said it takes atleast 45 mins to fix the fairing perfectly..by this time he will service 2 pulsar 150s 😊Originally posted by ARJUN P B View PostHi guys..I recently serviced my bike from bajaj authorized service centre ( Bannerghatta, bangalore).
