Max speed achieved was 80. And that too for once or twice for less than 10 seconds. M I doing fin? And will my bikes engine will wlaAst and perform or is it damaged ??? I feel vibrations specially at lower gears so I keep my speed near to 54kmph mostly at 6th gear.
Well you haven't dont anything wrong!
There have been reports of vibrations in between the range of 4000 - 5000 RPM, and new bikes do take time to smooth out, buy you can try and check the fairing screws to see if they are tightened properly and add 3m double sided tape or rubber washers in between the screws to dampen the vibrations (if you feel the vibrations are coming from the fairing area)

Ocassional pick-ups do not harm the engine, infact they are needed, and even though you are required to ride the bike withing an RPM range you need to vary the speeds, because if you ride in the same speed for prolonged periods during running-in, your engine will bed according to that particular motion which will later induce vibrations in other RPMs.

After the second service and oil change things should improve than before, but vibrations gradually decreases.

Yeah ! It didn't notice the indicators ! Exhausts grabs your eye balls so bad !

Are you sure the ground clearance will be improved because I think it isn't the exhaust that touches with the road, it is the rectangular part of the exhaust( i don't know what do we call it ) that creates mess !

It's an exhaust box. It contains the catalytic converter and O2 sensors (wherever applicable). With the pollution norms getting stricter by the day, cat cons have become huge in size, thereby bringing to us - the exhaust box!

                Hi All,

Tomorrow i am going in for third service of my bike. what are the things that needs to taken care.? for eg, in newer bikes break cables goes in left hand side of the handle bar whereas in older bikes it goes in the right hand side. this will be changed by svc i guess(not sure but read somewhere), similarly rollover sensor mounting. anything else that i need to concern about.? oil change from bajaj to motul but still confused between 7100 and 300v.

also suggest me some loud horn, bcoz i travel most of the time in NH and the stock horn is not adequate.

as the third service is getting over, i am planning for mobile holder with USB charger, angel rings, hid bulb (if possible). suggest some of these as well.

most important is the hid, as we already have halogen projector, what are all needed to be changed.? obviously hid bulb, ballast, i guess RS200 has H9 for high beam and H11 for low beam. i have no idea about the products available in our market, so pls help in choosing the best.

                  Hello Bro,

I have been using Motul 7100 after my first service and haven't faced any issues till now(clocked ~5000 kms). To be specific, I went across a lot of pages and forums and people say it's completely up to you how you want to switch between oils. If you want your engine to undergo the initial wear and tear, go for semi synthetic after first service and then after second you can go for fully synthetic. In my case, I did feel the engine being harsh for upto 1500 kms, however It has been a great deal after that. The bike's performance has increased, vibrations have been a lot lesser, I can even feel the difference in exhaust note ( I compared my exhaust note with a friends RS who uses stock Bajaj Engine Oil).

Moreover, I am using Rynox Mobile holder and a local mobile charger. The mobile holder is good and I have also made a review video, I'll share the link at the bottom. I have heard about Bolt charger, its bit costly but is good. You can find it easily online and guys have even shared the images of the charger in this thread before.

                  I hope this helps

Thank you... also when I asked about rollover sensor, svc said that they didn't get the circular yet... other than that I have reported a hell a lot of small things and they are happy to hear the complaint and guaranteed they will resolve all but the sad thing is they want three days for a service with all my complaints...

Your Welcome Buddy ! It's good that SVC guys are ready to work on your bike. However, sacrificing the ride for 3 days would be a big deal, talk to them or with the store manager, maybe he can get things move quickly. I am also planning to visit SVC here in Gurgaon to check if they have the updated roll over sensor yet.

When did you purchase the bike? Even I faced the same problem in the initial 15 days of my purchase, but after that I haven't heard the noise again. The sound comes from the front portion of the bike and generally comes from the disc assembly when the disc is heated up due to frequent braking.

P.S. : Guys, correct me if I'm wrong.

I got my bike on 31/10/2015 a black demon pulsar rs 200.Ya you are right the noise comes from front disc assembly but it's getting severe have clocked 11000 kms neva had got this problem. It feels like I am driving some old bike.
Yesterday my bike' instrumentcluster failed to respond after I turned the ignition switch it didn't respond immediately I am shocked and worried abt it.

                            Hello Members,

You all are well experienced, I want your suggestions, I am planning to buy a Bike (My Previous bike was Pulsar 180 , Pulsar 220 F) , My selections are Pulsar Rs 200, Yamaha YZF R15 and Honda CBR 150R. By seeing all the complaints i am worried whether i should keep Pulsar in my top of the list or not. My drives are mostly in city. The Second contender is Yamaha R15, Honda CBR is also in my choice but in bangalore, all dealers ask for 30 - 45 days waiting period. Hence my focus stays on Pulsar or Yamaha. Any suggestion would help me taking right decision.

Again Yamaha R15 also people says not suitable for city ride due to sporty seating style. Suggest ...

Shall i wait 1 month and go for Honda CBR?

Thanks for your time and suggestions in advance.

If u love DIY stuff buy pulsar. Rs200 is a value for money package. Don't expect reliability from it . But if u know how stuff works & how to make them correct, then it's a gem.

If u want fill it , shut it , forget it kind of bike go for R15s , or Honda CBR .
