Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
I think those are probiker gloves, i would say change it to some other gloves, and I guess you were wearing denim jacket, wear riding jacket with armors. It would give you additional protection.Originally posted by Axiyan View PostThanks. U are ryt bro, damages are just the front fairing, drl and plastic .

Anyone using Sofarider gel seat on RS? If yes, please share your experience.
I am planning to buy. Suggestions are welcome.
This sounds good !
Gel Seat ! I remember a similar product that I came across recently. The link to product is
Buy M1 - Universal - Air Cushion • Ride-on-Air
You can give this a look as well.
However, I don't know how good it will be to have an extra seat, won't it create any problem? It'd be good if we have someone in the forum who has already been using and can exactly tell us what it feels like to have one.
I look best when I take my helmet off, I have a glow on my face and a bit of helmet hair ;)

I have seen review for "Ride on Air" seat in youtube. But it is costlier than Sofarider gel seat.Originally posted by Lone_Rider 0_o View PostThis sounds good !

With the fairing encompassing the engine from all sides dissipating heat is a challenge and unfortunately it will be so in heavy traffic.Originally posted by Bhargav Joshi View PostThanks Gaurav for wishes
'On to the bike, keeping the bike for prolonged periods in 1st and 2nd gears will cause the engine to heat up faster.'
means in heavy traffic it will burn me more
Anything you know that I can do for less heat to be generated?(like adding another coolant (which I can change after 1st Service) or others)
yes , the sound was sort of desert cooler and also from fairing.
Sorry bro will not be able to help you out with the coolant bit since I am still running stock coolant. I switched over to Motul 7100 engine oil which in itself keeps the engine cooler however that should not be an option for you considering your bike is brand new.

Wont happen immediately but you will notice the deterioration soon bro ... better safe than sorryOriginally posted by Axiyan View PostThanks GauravD. Surely will get its checked. But Rode abt 20kms after the accident, ride was absolutely normal.

Can anyone suggest a good bike shampoo with affordable rate? And btw it's been only a month since I bought rs200..can I use bike shampoo for my rs200? I've heard ppl saying not to use bike wax as it damages the paint

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Of course you can use bike shampoo. It's meant for washing vehicles.
Wax protects the paint. In fact after washing, waxing the bike protects the paint and gives water beading also.
Stay away from polishes or waxes (incorrect nomenclature) which contain abrasives. They take away small layers of clear coat.

Hey friends, hope you are enjoying your monsoon rides!
Has anybody here tried to tighten the chain by himself? My chain has become quite loose and my hectic schedule is not allowing me to visit a mechanic. So I was planning to do it myself. Any pointers or pics will be of great help!

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
U need a center stand for that. Lift the rear tyre see if it rotates freely without touching ground. Loose the axle nut using the spanner provided in the toolkit. Rotate the wheel. Read number marking on chain adjuster . Increase it by 1 on both sides. Check for chain tightness by moving it up down. The up & down point travel should be in the range of 4-5cm approximately . Repeat this step at least 5 times at different chain links by rotating the wheel. If the tightness of chain remains same through out the rotation then proceed further to tight the axle nut . If the tightness is different at some point , adjust the slack at that particular point . Check for free wheel rotation. Tight the axel nut. Done.Originally posted by rachitsharma2000 View PostHey friends, hope you are enjoying your monsoon rides!

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Hello guys,
I have been facing a problem from last few days, wherein when I maintain a constant throttle i.e. when I keep going on a constant speed , I feel sometimes the Bike lags or she resists until I push the throttle a little harder. has anyone face similar situation ? if yes, is it something I should be worried about or is it normal?

Even I get the same from my RS. But that will last only for few seconds by that time I give throttle same like you. At constant RPM bike engine sound will be like drrr drrr drrr. I hope it is normal. If you find any solution, please let me know.Originally posted by Lone_Rider 0_o View PostHello guys,
