    I have no idea.

I think we should at least email Bajaj and try to find out why us early adopters are not being offered this feature when the new bikes are coming with it installed from the factory.

    Anyone with me?

        Hi guys,

Today i noticed that my windshield has started to crack from the screws side. Dont know why is this happening. I drive my bike only twice a week, condition is almost new still those cracks managed to creep in. Anyone knows what could be the reason?
Also, please tell whether i should change the windshield or not. Cracks are minor ones (only from the screws side).

Also, i want to ask that i have clocked 2035 km on odo. Why those viberations on footpegs(mostly on the right side one) are still there while braking and downshifting of gears. Otherwise, I am not even facing the vibrations between 4k-5k rpm mark. Can anyone tell me why this vibration problem started only after first service?

You mean you can switch on low/high beam lights without starting the bike.
Or just drls and parking lamps.
Yes. I can switch on both the lights without starting the engine.

So i dont want that feature as it ll drain battery when standing in traffic,

But what i want is always blinking DRLS,(without parking lamps).

i heard new ones have accessory ports like ktms. Is it true!?

I alone am not enough. If we want Bajaj to do something we must all complain and demand this feature.

I'll be sending an email to Bajaj regarding this, I hope to get a response (fingers crossed).

I urge all of you early adopters to do something as well. If you know someone, an engineer or anyone in the SVC please tell them to forward this to Bajaj.

We made the RS 200 what it is today by supporting a new product and putting faith in this company. We do not deserve to be screwed over like this. Small updates like Paint changes and all that is ok. But this is a major feature and it is a necessity for most.

I hope you all will be cooperative and voice your opinions regarding this.

              Peace out.

Nothing works without starting the bike. Even the LCD display light doesn't work which makes it really hard to read the display without starting the engine first. Which is kind of pointless.

Unless you press the pass switch, then the headlights work for as long as you press that button. This is not a very convenient method if you want the lights ON without starting the engine in some emergency.

Why does Bajaj do this to the RS 200? The other Pulsars seem to have this feature, and so do the Duke/RC bikes.

I have June 2016 model and it has that feature, we can turn on the low/ high beam and LCD display without starting the engine..just need to turn on the key and engine kill switch.

Do you also have an alarm connector like the Duke/RC under the pillion seat or somewhere else?

If yes would you mind sharing a picture?

                  Thanks.

I saw a video on youtube who made blinking DRLS for RS.

My bike (2016 Jan Model) doesn't have any port for alarm under the seat. I don't have any idea about the latest one.

In that method rear parking lamp and plate light will be running along with DRLs, i don't want that.

What i need is just blinking DRLs, without parking lamps n they should turn on whenevr i turn ignition to On position.

Its still 10month old bike, just waiting for another 14 month so i can play with electricalS.

                              hello all!

I am planning to upgrade from my pulsar 200ns to RS200, ABS variant.

Since it has been almost a year since the launch of the RS 200, I would like to know about the bike wrt to long term use.
To owners of the bike who had bought it last year,
                              - how well has bike served you?
                              - how would you rate the build quality of the bike in long term?
                              - how would you rate the engine refinement and performance of the fuel injection (throttle response)?
                              - how well does ABS perform?
                              - how well has the service stations helped you in maintaining the bike?

I know these are very particular questions, but answers to these will really help me in making the decision.

I would classify myself in the "sport tourer" category. I love riding fast on the highways and I also sometimes have to ride 50+ kms daily for work or social commitments, and my bike is my primary means of transport. As such, reliability of the bike and performance in traffic and free roads are equally important to me.

Any and all help is appreciated guys, I'm looking to upgrade before the end of this monsoon.

I dont know exactly, but I tried to search about the alarm connectors like duke/rc on Google, but there is nothing like that under my pillion seat. I am attaching some pictures I clicked for your peoples.

It has some thing inside that black rubber covering but it is not as big as what I have seen on Google, I could feel 2-3 small connectors inside that rubber thing.

Also there are 3 small plastic box kind things hidden at left side of seat..I am not sure what is it?
