Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Yes, they do. Last Saturday I confirmed the same with one SS at Thane. They will change the oil to whatever you ask for. Only issue is that if you choose to change the oil from Bajaj Crapfest oil, your warranty "may" become void. What I would suggest is that once you get the oil change (Bajaj Crapfest oil) done in SS, go out, buy a good engine oil and ask any mechanic to drain Bajaj oil and replace with your new oil.Originally posted by macba View PostSo we can change oil in bajaj service center i mean different oil is available in svc?Riding a bike is like flying.... All your senses are alive...

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Hope you're doing alright bro. Take care and I would say never give your bike to anyone unless you trust them 100% with your life. Your accident was much more severe than mine as I just had a rikshaw slam into me at 20 km/h.Originally posted by Sharma Ji View PostYou know what I also met with a same kind of accident almost 2 months ago while a pulsar 150 dts I turned without any indicators while my uncle was driving my bike.
My bike struck with the bike first then with a wall nearby and then with a tree just near the wall my bike was badly damaged from handelbars to fairing to alloy breaking front seat bolts breaking...
But yeah the biggest contribution in this damage was speed.
We were riding in a speed of almost 110-120 kmph.
I've never seen a 1.5L bottle and I searched everywhere! Couldn't find it online and not in the SVC either. If it is genuine then maybe it's made specially for the KTM's? Maybe someone in the Duke thread can throw some light on this.Originally posted by ssrraghav View PostI had serviced recently in a bajaj showroom... I had put motul 7100 20w50 oil and motul inugel coolant expert... What surprised me is the bottle size of oil and coolant... 1.5 liitre bottle of oil and coolant bottle type... I searched online and nowhere I found this type... It's from genuine bajaj and KTM showroom and svc... So does motul have any seller agreement with showroom or svc to get bottle types manufactured specifically...
Suppose if its available online anywhere let me know, so that I can buy...

Yes, made for KTM. 1.5L can available at KTM SVC. (Similarly, Motul have 2.5 L can of 3000/3100 for Royal Enfield).Originally posted by Minisoda View PostI've never seen a 1.5L bottle and I searched everywhere! Coming to the heating part..Dont worry its totally normal for the new bike..I felt the same issue..after few days i never felt the same amount of heating again it gets reduced to very low temp..and abt that sound as our frnd said its the radiator..chill bro and enjoy ur ride..
Ride safe..!!!
Thanks Man
Yes after 600kms and first servicing later,The heating issue is significantly reduced.
the noises from fairing are also lower but not completely gone.
The issue I am facing is the mirror vibration while throttling.
The SVC guy(Avinash from Sai Service ,Dapodi) tightened all the screws of mirror but the vibration still exists.

Thanks man,Originally posted by Minisoda View PostCongrats and welcome to the club!
Heating is absolutely normal if you ride in traffic in 1st or 2nd gear. The noise you hear is of the radiator fan doing it's job keeping the engine cool. Do read the owner's manual carefully and try to read this thread from the beginning. You'll find a lot of answers here.
Fairing noise is also normal you just need to tighten the fairing screws (you'll find an Allen key in the tool kit provided under the pillion seat) so the noise goes away.
Cheers!
Yes reading the whole RS200 Ownership thread is one on my todo List.It is a Treasure!!
Haven't tried tightening the fairing myself as of now, will try definitely.

You can also try to put some 3M Double Sided tape if in case the vibrations don't go even after tightening the screws.Originally posted by Bhargav Joshi View Post

From the factory the RS 200 comes with the Motul Inugel coolant. So it's safe to top up with this one.Originally posted by ssrraghav View PostWhat about the coolant..? To top up I need the same brand... Any idea about it..?
You can search on YouTube there is a guy who has installed frame sliders on his black RS 200. They seem to be universal and are available on eBay.Originally posted by macba View PostAnybody having crash cage or frame slider installed on RS?

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
They were using Motul Inugel last time, but they said KTM will be switching to some DTSi brand coolant. They were using Castrol Radicool during the initial launch time. (I am using Motocool Expert screwed up with Inugel by SVC).Originally posted by ssrraghav View PostWhat about the coolant..? To top up I need the same brand... Any idea about it..?#RetiredRider

You need to skin or cut wires to work, buy doing this you are going to loose warranty.
