I have done a small modification on tail light assembly.

To mount the LED unit, indicator, number plates I have used NS200 mounting bracket. I coloured the bracket with black spray paint.
The LED unit is handmade by using LED strips , ruler ,some plastics and black insulation tapes.
    Nice.
I was also considering one mod project but keeping it waterproof, sturdy & mainly time are challenges for me.
Have you fixed that Light box in position if not, remove reflector & bolt the box by reversing bracket -ideal permanent position for it,if already fixed ignore this.

Thanks Hitesh. There are two screws available below the tail section. I will develop/modify the current design to fix in that position.

This light box is not water proof design and extra care to be taken now. I can say it is an initial design. I need to bolt this one permanently once I make or find good tail light.

Quick question,The RS 200 is on my list of motorcycles to consider, given that ABS is now going to be mandatory from 2018. With that in mind, I hope to get the RS 200 ABS.Has anyone changed the Rear Grab Rails for some traditional ones? Or done a touring setup/luggage rack? If it's a job to be done externally, can someone quote me the cost? Preferrably around Pune area. Thanks in advanceCheers

Why this thread is dead for 3 days?

          Even am alive..

          Not joking
Last Monday morning on the way to college, an overspeeding honda jazz come from opposite direction overtaking other bike, came into my lane crashed on me HEAD ON.
          I was doing 55-60kmph

My 1 year 7 months Love my RS200 is completed damaged, i didnt see the aftermath,I can't.

Everyone who saw said that the bike can only be thrown away total loss.
          Can't repair.😥😥😥

I lost my consciousness at the spot, came from I.C.U. yesterday afternoon, right wrist fracture and pelvic fracture.

RS200 is a safebike, bike took the crash saved me,

My helmet was ZEUS (costs 4800), without that helmet I couldn't have survived, after the crash i was thrown some 20 feet on air and crashed on to the road,
Thus the fracture but not even a scratch on my HEAD.

          SAFE RIDE GUYS..
          CHEERS..

That sounds scary! How are you even managing to type this?

You need to sue the crap out of that car guy. I hope your folks have lodged a complain, unless he pays for every bill including the bike's repairs.

              Thanks.

                    My helmet.

I suggest this helmet everyone having a budget ₹4500-6000.

Amazing helmet this is, kind of crash tested from my side.
                    Cheers.

Changed the grab rails? Mate there is nothing there to change. There is no way you can change the rear setup or grab rails without doing some cutting. And nobody is willing to cut into their precious bikes. The bodywork is such that it doesn't allow for any modifications. Only thing you can do is buy saddle bags from Rynox and mount them on the back seat. It's the safest/easiest way to do it.
