Also, white light gives the illusion of a bigger/brighter bulb so that's why they use it in photos and advertisements.

I've read somewhere that this sort of blinding white light is illegal. The stock setup is fine and I don't see any reason you'd want to upgrade.

I've ridden on pitch black roads in the ghats and the highway at night and the high beam + low beam is more than enough even in those conditions. Cheers.
Yes you are right. Bright white light will blind the vehicles coming from opp. direction.

Actually thats what i need, the new innova crysta and fortuners have lights that make us blind till they pass us, having some bright lights would make them use low beam.

I was riding my bike on a desolate stretch in NECE road today and we were trying the acceleration and top speed. But whenever I hit 125 kmph, there was a jerk and accelerator stopped responding. I had to switch off the engine and switch it on and it started as usual in 1st attempt and worked normally.

I tried this thrice and results were the same. Anyone else who faced this issue? Any help is highly appreciated.

Well the white lights give better visibility of the road. Blinding occurs when they use higher watt bulbs. Legality is not the issue as many of the high end bikes and cars use them. I need the same watt output headlamps as they are in the stock..

Well I wanted them for the looks. I saw an RS with white lights, but couldnt talk to him as he was in other lane. It looked just awesome. Which philips bulb should I buy?
Please ignore previous post of NS as it has white but am not sure about bulb type in 200ns (I think different-H4)

Check for H11 Philips diamond vision from local electrical hardware store , (take stock with you for reference- remove power plug & Rotate 90 degree anti-clockwise-bulb will come out-or take help from mechanic). It should cost in range of 1k for single bulb.

Those high end bikes lights which you are talking are LEDs and legal LEDs costs alot, if you change to white bulbs, they are illegal and are useless during rains.

They use H7 bulbs in supersport bikes in most cases. LEDs are just replacement/upgrade for them.
