I suspect that there's a huge amount of misunderstanding about radial vs bias ply motorcycle tires out there. And because MotoGP racers and high-performance sports bikes all use radials, the average uninformed will automatically assume that radial ply tires are superior to bias ply tires in all ways.

Not quite true. Check out this excellent article from revzilla on the difference between bias and radial ply:

Really, it all comes down to your tire application - what do you intend to use it for? Personally, I use my motorcycle (a 200NS) for commuting and touring. I have NEVER brought it to a race track and am not interested in taking low angled corners. So, for me at least, a set of bias ply tires make more sense. The stiffer sidewall also performs better (than radials) under heavy loads and are probably slightly more resistant to (sidewall) punctures - thus, increasing touring / commuting reliability.

For the ones who scrape the foot pegs, which tyre would you suggest?
      Radial or Bias ply?
      (Michelin PSR or MRF Massater)
      Thank you.

        Hello everyone,
Can i use 110/70 instead of 100/80 as my front tire...... Will it work...... What side effects will it have........
        Secondly,
Will a front michelin pilot sporty(non radial) and a rear michelin pilot street(radial) make good pair.
        And what's the difference between "130/70-17" and "130/70 R17" .
        Thank-you

you will feel the lack of grip if u use non radial front tyre as you got addicted to the rear Michelin radials.
              130/70 R 17 , R denotes steel radial constructed tyre , else nylon tyre .

Michelin radials are available in 110/70 R17 for front & 130/70R17
up sizing the front tyre will weigh up the steering feel. bike feels more planted at triple digit speeds,
              I have 110/70 R17 Michelin radials front & 140/70 17 mrf zapper s 1 as rear on my ns200.

Second service introduced one new problem to my bike.
I get body vibration when i go beyond 90kmph.

Is it normal? Because before it was not there.

I have to say this guys. Recently i switched my oil to Motul 7100 20w50 after a long confusion and research.

But this oil is magic. I have never felt this smooth at lower speeds. It's been a couple of hundred kms since i changed to Motul.. I could see noticeable change..

Engine is becoming smooth day by day.. Expecting more. Thanks guys.. Somebody in this forum also helped me. Thank you..

Has anyone took notice of the newly designed set of retractable rear view mirrors on the 2017 RS 200 ?

Guys i have almost 5k odo readings, all on bajaj engine oil....... Should i switch to motul now.....
Nd what's the best way to switch, straight away to motuo 7100 (fully synthetic) or first to motul 5100(semi synthetic)

                              Hey guys...
I am planning to update my RS200.

Yes as one would guess, new mirrors are one thing, the next is something i need help.

KTM RCs and RS were using the same cltuch and brake levers.
Now the rc390 gets the adjustable levers, so is there any issues in getting those for my RS
and also am thinking of getting the bigger MC kit from RC390 to make the front brake more responsive and to offer better initial bite?

                              Are these things possible?

                              Thank you.

They're just adjustable feedback won't change just the leverage on the levers and they'll be expensive mind that
