Michelin pilot sporty is one of the worst tyres you can get. It is well known for its lack of wet grip.

Michelin pilot street is the good tyre.

      Yes .
Our stock tyre performs way better than the Michelin pilot sporty.

I wonder, how michelin named this tyre pilot 'SPORTY' [emoji54]

I didn't know that... Actually I searched a bit and evryone was praising Michelins and I was short on time.. The front tyre was having so many punctures and the last one was really messed up.. Anyway thanks for the info

Actually when pilot sporty was introduced here first, it was being imported from Thailand. Those were very sticky tyres.

Later they started manufacturing it in India and screwed up the compound.

That's ok I guess, if you can then try getting an exchange for it. Go for the stock MRFs, they're the best overall in the 100/80 size.

It's been around 500km since then I'm not sure if they'd accept any exchange

Thank you for the info brother I did a little RnD on bias-ply and radials and found radials are good if you want superior grip, do cornering and are comfortable to ride with(absorb shocks pretty well) . The next bias-ply is somewhat harder than radials as bias-ply has inner layers laid over each other at 45 degree angle, which provides prolonged life and a level of stiffness to the tyre. I also learned bias ply don't absorb shocks that we'll coz of the way they are made.

So, overall radials have grip and bias-ply have better life. But the point I'm confused at is, what should I prefer as I ride to. Mountains in a month or two and the terrain is not always good, you sometime need a gripy tyre and sometime you need a tyre that can handle bad terrain easily (snow, mud, gravel, sand, small rocks). Isn't there any manufacturer that gives us the best combination of both? It'll be a compromise then, right? Whether you can go all gripy or you can go offroading!

Damn, choosing tyres haven't ever been this confusing [emoji36] still confused [emoji40]

Anyone here who can help 🙈 thanks in advance 🏔️🏍️🙌

No problem brother I know we have a lot of talent in this group, we'll wait for all the good reviews to come in [emoji2]

None of them would have a warranty buy the cheaper one rather then betting on for 1299

It's your choice... Visuals and looks of bike are purely subjective.. So there is no point of asking others.. And as you can see.. The number of leds will be higher in the one with higher price.. And thus it will be more uniform than the other.. And unless you know about the wiring of the bike... Don't try it yourself.. You might blow a fuse or damage ecu at worst

Just something to have a note of ---

Over the course of time , I started hearing a rattling sound from the front part of the bike as I went over the slightest of bumps.
I tried to look for something that must have fallen in the faring, but there was nothing. I got it checked from a local mechanic, everything looked fine.
Next week I took the bike for a 200-250km ride and also got the same rattling sound checked from another local mechanic. He went for a quick ride and when he came back, I was pretty shocked to see the issue.
All the DISC BRAKE BOLTS WERE LOOSE! All of them and the brake was literally hanging onto the tyre.
I could've taken it to the SVC at the first place but the point is why compromising on the quality Bajaj. Not everyone pays attention to the small noises. I tightened all the bolts at home only. The faring, the windshield and the mirrors. All had gone loose but they cant cause much damage compared to the disc brake gone loose.
I cant imagine what would have happened at 110-120km/h and the brake coming off!

Don't compromise on quality. Bajaj has come a long way but still has a long way ahead to go.!
Just a note to all of you to notice and keep checking tiny things on the bike.

Wtf, I guess the svc mechanic didnt tighten it properly in your case, I've gone through so many posts regarding the rs200 and none of them had this problem. Report that guy who last did work with the brake pads of your bike (if it was in Bajaj svc), this is nuts and really shouldn't happen !!!
