Not much, but take care of the below 3 pointers:Originally posted by SaHil ParWani View Post
Hellow everyone.
I want to know what are the cares to bebe taken of fuel injection in rs200
1. Most important: NEVER run the bike with empty/close to empty tank. The FI will get burnt if you do so. I get my tank full at 230-260 km mark.
2. Get petrol only from trusted petrol pumps. Adulterated fuel might clog/damage your FI.
3. While starting the bike, wait for 2-3 secs after you turn on the engine. This is to ensure full electrical checkup is done. Remember that most mechanics have this habit of starting the bike immediately after turning the engine on. Keep an eye on that.Riding a bike is like flying.... All your senses are alive...

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
I've been mostly filling my tank to full capacity, i.e. tank to tank method. And I've observed that just when the oil level indicator starts showing no bar of petrol; even then a Max of 10.5L of petrol can come in the tank. So, how I see is that at all times there's 2.5-3L of petrol available in the tank.Originally posted by rachitsharma2000 View PostNot much, but take care of the below 3 pointers:

So, now my query is... Whether that's enough to keep the FI healthy or we need to have even more petrol in the tank.
Also, normal petrol is advisable over xtra-premium/power etc. Right?
Cheers

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
I guess 2.5 - 3L of petrol is absolutely fine. Its just that I have seen one of my friends getting his Karizma ZMR FI fried (bill amount~12k), so I am a bit conservative here. BTW the max I have travelled in full tank is 290 km before I chickened outOriginally posted by anand.androids View PostI've been mostly filling my tank to full capacity, i.e. tank to tank method. Regarding normal vs premium petrol, there is no definite answer. I did try the premium petrol in my Karizma but did not find any big difference in mileage/performance. Since then I am using normal petrol. You need to try this yourself and see if you find any difference.Riding a bike is like flying.... All your senses are alive...

Here's my filling log... Was filling earlier also tank to tank then started maintaining this log.Originally posted by rachitsharma2000 View PostBTW the max I have travelled in full tank is 290 km before I chickened out
Regarding normal vs premium petrol, You need to try this yourself and see if you find any difference.
Clocked some 1500Kms in three days recently, in that 750km in 13hrs
on return journey from Trivendrum to Bangalore... Had no issue with bike at all... Just some 'krrr krrr' sound started coming from somewhere behind the meter console.
All that on normal petrol... Will try premium now for next fills. Let's see.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Hello friends,
Recently, I had parked my bike on side stand near my place. The roadworks had finished 2 weeks back but the side of the road where I parked was still soft.
It was my mistake. I didn't notice that.
The stand went into the tar and the bike fell onto its left side and the fairing got scratched.
Now, every time I take my bike out, I feel a pinch inside, seeing the bike like that.
Does anybody here know how much will it cost to replace the RS200 fairing / How much will the fairing alone cost?
If somebody have some details on this, kindly do share.
Regards.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Can you be specific as to what fuse seems to be the culprit here? I'm facing an issue in the indicators and would like to know if this is the same fuse causing it. Thanks.Originally posted by Giftonsamuel View PostMy bike is just 2 weeks old but I have blown my electrical fuse twice .
