The on road price in kharagpur for abs version 1.58 LOriginally posted by kush013 View PostI'm planning to buy the RS200. But after reading about all these pathetic service by the svc guys, I'm getting second thoughts. OSL BAJAJ KOLKATA quoted me a price of 1.6 lacs for the abs version. Is that the actual price?

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Hi Guys.
Can anyone tell me that why does the rear brake pedal vibrates while braking. Is this the character of ABS or any other problem? The vibrations also affect the right side foot peg.
It happens while braking only.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Shoot an email to bajaj. How old is the bike? This is highly unacceptable for a new bike. Thrash them and demand a new engine/bike. Attatch all the job sheets too. Do not worry as long as your bike is in warranty and i believe it has always been serviced at Authorised Bajaj svcs. Tell them you will take the matter to consumer court.Originally posted by patisid View PostBike engine seized#pulsar rs200 after the clutch update on few days confused angry irritated need help till now alot of problems faced what should I do attaching my previous job sheets too ...

They are saying we will check and tell if it's ur mistake then u need to pay it won't be covered under warranty after every Service I am just feeling very bad unlucky and helpless facing problem since day 1 and it's 11 months of ownership and I don't understand bajaj people say that we are not charging u for parts changed but then the bike isn't left with any company fitting. But it's surely that it's depreciating the value of my bike am I wrong ?please correct me if so.Originally posted by sanjaynk15 View PostShoot an email to bajaj. Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Don't go by what svc guys say. Send an email to bajaj immediately. Tell them that you were facing issues since day 1 and ask them how can you be responsible for engine seizure in just 11 months, that too when the bike was regularly serviced at bajaj svc only. You have all the job sheets and bills with you no need to worry. Thrash them. Don't bother to send numerous mails until some service manager or section head calls you.Originally posted by patisid View PostThey are saying we will check and tell if it's ur mistake then u need to pay it won't be covered under warranty after every Service I am just feeling very bad unlucky and helpless facing problem since day 1 and it's 11 months of ownership and I don't understand bajaj people say that we are not charging u for parts changed but then the bike isn't left with any company fitting. But it's surely that it's depreciating the value of my bike am I wrong ?please correct me if so.

Bajaj Pulsar RS200: The Story of My First Bike
I know the post is a bit long. But please bear with me, as I cannot miss out to skip any of the events which led me to my first bike.
Owning a sports bike was my dream right from the moment when I first revved a motorcycle. It was, however, far away from the reach of my wallet, and asking Dad to buy me one was a decision I never really wanted to take. Not that he would have refused, but the pride of buying my first bike and reaching out for my own cheque book to pay for it was something I always desired to feel.
My Dream Started Unwinding...
It all started in mid-2014, when the urge of owning a bike struck me very badly. I started making plans as to how I would manage the finances and what would my budget be. My decent beginners-income as a full-time blogger restricted my wallet in the realms of Pulsar 135 LS. I started looking for a used LS and most of the well-maintained ones were carrying a price-tag of around 30-35K. I discussed the idea with my friends, but most of them suggested I buy a new one. So I held on to my urge for some time.

My First Ride With My Yellow Bride!

Now was the time to take control of my RS. I put on my helmet and gloves and brought her to life with a soft touch on the starter. She woke up immediately in respect. The engine sounded so melodious to me; it totally enchanted me and was no less than A.R Rahman's music at that moment. I switched to the first gear and revved!!
Whoa!
What a feeling. The bike looks heavy, but is totally stable and never did I feel like I would lose control of her. The big bike feel made me feel extremely awesome behind the helmet on the saddle! I couldn't push the bike hard due to the run-in period, but even that 60km/hr ride below 4.5 RPM was enough to make me fall in love permanently with my RS.
I rode merrily for 20 minutes along the vacant roads with green fields on both the sides, a view every rider will cherish, especially someone like me who is riding his first bike, and that too a RS200! I returned home and parked her safely in my garage beside my car. And since then, it has been two days and I never miss a chance to pop into the garage and admire my new partner. It's the start of a new love story.

Hello Folks,,,Originally posted by jbm_guy View PostNot able to see your pictures.... You did a great job by removing stickers. Ofcourse nobody asked for that, don't know why Bajaj added this stickering job recently (Even with last some batches of NS).
The best advice in case you think you will drop the bike is, Let the bike drop. Because of it's weight, chances are it can pull you along with. Trust me, you will either end up scratching the fairing or bent gear lever mostly and the rest will remain solid. Even I have felt that many times with my NS even though it is 20kgs lighter. When I took off (jumped over the cockpit) from parking, I thought side stand was still there and let the bike to stay on it (but actually I have retracted the side stand), while I tried to take the mobile. Trust me, when the bike sloped to the angle of side stand elevation, I almost couldn't stop it anymore no matter how hard I tried (mind you I weigh 93 Kgs and a heavy built), to some extend I was holding the handle bar and tried hard to stop it from falling, but the bike kept on pulling me along. Finally had to let go the bike (just 2 weeks after my purchase
). Kind if heart broker, bent gear lever, unable to up shift at all and the LCD display showed a black dot (Very disappointed, cursed myself). But after few months, it vanished.
Also when you bias toward either side when parked on a gravel, you are more prone to drop the bike. I can really think about how bad it'd be in RS200 on such conditions. After that incident, I'd pay more attention when parking and always will make sure there are no sand or fine gravels around.
Ride safe.
Yesterday I went to Hyderabad Bajaj Showroom,, There I saw this RS200 with no stickers in front...Showroom people told that it came like this only from BAJAJ...
----consecutive posts auto-merged-----
Hello Folks,
Yesterday I had a very bad experience in Varun BAJAJ showroom in Hyderabad which ruins my dreams like hell.
I currently staying in Hyderabad...
Friday, before booking I asked showroom manager for a latest RS200 slot. He confirmed me that he is having latest July stock in his showroom.
With his confirmation only I initiated Paper work etc everything.
After all done they want me to come on Sunday for final delivery.
Guess what they showed me 2016 Jan stock RS200 which later i came to know after PDI inspection (Thanks to XBHP forum). Below are the flaws I identified:
1. Cowling loose
2. Rear disc plate rusted
3. Scratches in projector lamp and in some part of bike
4. Tyres are not new
It seems bike has been parked from Jan 2016..
TODAY I blasted that manager like hell finally he concluded me that he can arrange April model within two day.
Please folks help me on this issue..Last edited by nabin_RS200; 09-12-2016, 02:25 PM.Two bodies!!!

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Hello Amar..I am planning to buy RS200 from Varun Bajaj, but due to unavailability they get it from Vijaywada.Originally posted by amarme001 View PostAt least you people have a option, I am stuck with single entity Varun Bajaj who cover all of Vizag and neighboring towns. Best part is all of the service centers are absolute $hit and there is nothing I can do about it, I sent numerous emails to bajaj have got nil reply. The probiking accepts every motorcycle from bajaj stable and are always overwhelmed by the number of vehicles coming for servicing and now they also service auto rickshaw under the same roof....just the icing on the cake.??
That's why stopped worrying about warranty all together and just get done free servicing and later on just oil change and few niggles every once or twice a year.
Is that okay to take it??
Please advise...Two bodies!!!
