If you are not inclined towards faired bikes and your budget allows you, then you can also go for VS400. It looks very promising. It will serve you as an upgrade also. As per news it will launch soonOriginally posted by Subir Samanta View Post

thanks bro for the information.
But what is this rules regarding headlights & pilot lamps, it will be always 'ON', i mean why. what is the logic behind this. what is the mechanism, how, battery will be drained most of the time. I have very less knowledge regarding this. can you explain a bit, you can share the link also where this news is showing.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
He is trying to say , headlights can be turned on without starting the engine. Which was not possible with the older rs/as/ns 200. Headlights dont remain on all-time, like duke200Originally posted by Subir Samanta View Postthanks bro for the information.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
I'm planning to buy the RS200. But after reading about all these pathetic service by the svc guys, I'm getting second thoughts. OSL BAJAJ KOLKATA quoted me a price of 1.6 lacs for the abs version. Is that the actual price?Originally posted by Subir Samanta View PostOk, thanks.
I will update after the delivery of my bee.
In Kolkata, price has gone up by 7K
from last year. (Non-ABS).
Any Key suggestion before I take the delivery.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
I recently got my RS200 with ABS Yellow color. The bike is running smooth and is in run in period. I have done around 450kms by now. However I as facing two issues with my bike.
1. Left fairing rattles and I can see gaps on fairing near the handle bars and on the fairing provided on tank, no problems as such on right side and no gaps as well. Not usual for a new bike I feel.
2. Whenever I am at very low speed say 5-15kmph and am turning my bike(especially going down the slope and on flat surfaces as well), I get a weird squeaking noise. It's very low but I feel I should not ignore the sound.
P.S: I read somewhere the squeaking noise can be because of the brake pads rubbing but that's not the case as sound comes even when my brakes are applied.
Thanks for your support.

I was asking the dealer in Pune and they quoted around 1.54 lakhs on road. Apart from that, there was a hectic documentation procedure which was supposed to be followed. They were not at interested in giving time or value to the customers. So I went to a small village 24kms away from Pune. It's not usual for them that someone gets their flagship bike with 100% down payment. They treated me with respect and I got the delivery the very next day.Originally posted by kush013 View PostI'm planning to buy the RS200. best part is, the money I paid was 1.50 lakhs on road and there were minimal documentation processes.
Moral of the story is look for small places near Kolkata as they will be giving it to you for less amount and service will be good as they won't have customers lined up like they are in Kolkata.

Thanks for the info! Even some of my friends recommended to check out smaller dealerships. Does the new batch of bikes still have the vibration issues?Originally posted by Logi View PostI recently got my RS200 with ABS Yellow color. The bike is running smooth and is in run in period. Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
I personally have no vibration issues. My issue was regarding the gap in the fairings which in turn rattles and I feel it can be fixed by setting it proper. And as the saying goes, If you get an elephant, you need to feed it right. Same goes with RS200. It's a beast and it does and will need some maintenance. And this is the best forum for all your queries. Had been following it from quite some time and joined once I got the bike.Originally posted by kush013 View PostThanks for the info! Coming to your question regarding the vibration, no, it's very minimal and it won't disturb you at any point of time. It does seek in around 4-5k RPM. I have not gone further but since I have followed the forum, I know it's a beast after 6k. So if you are confused about the bike because of the vibrations issue, well, nothing to worry about and go ahead with it.

I have visited the Bajaj Panvel Service center for my first paid service today, Asked their manager for this clutch update thing(shown him that letter) but he denied of such update- he stated they have such update but only for specific duke/rc models. (Anyway I don't feel any problem with current clutch setup(It feels soft & haven't heard any Khar sound engaging 1st gear), so no problem for me- Mine from May 2015 batch.)

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Hello xbhp members!
I have ridden a honda shine extensively for the last 2 years. Now I'm looking for an upgrade. But I'm utterly confused between the Duke200 and the PulsarRS 200.
Need an overall reliable package and good aftersales services. Any suggestions on which would be a better buy?

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Running without "a single drop of coolant" means you can seize your engine, given the chances due to overheating. At lease use plain water for the time being and use it for the time being. Motul Inugel and Motul Motocool are both good options, if you can't get Motocool, try the Inugel, premixed,Originally posted by vinoth_88 View Posthi all,

Never run your motorcycle without coolant, it's a disaster waiting to happen.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
