Yeah the problem is with the wiring and I need a good SVC at Chennai who can check that out .

How does shooting amail to bajaj work ? Do they respond ?

I am taking to SVC tomorrow but I don't know where to take it as the PBK in Chennai is now a KTM only outlet
They will not reply although they will call/mail the SVC and tell them to resolve your problem quickly as RS 200 customers are given top priority (however little that helps) right now. So register a complaint on their website if you want a quick answer from the SVC.

1.Never had a false downshifts till now.
          2. Bike stalled thrice while riding. People here advised me that it might be because of having fuel less than 3 litres. FI engine needs minimum of 3 litres. That point seems to valid because i was riding with zero/1 bar .
          3. Thud sound while entering speed breaker with little speed.
          4. Acceleration is Cool.. It is so smooth.. Letting everyone eat dust in almost all signals
          5. Petrol gauge doesnt make sense when you have petrol less than or equal to 2 bars... If its more than 3 it seems to work
          6. Regarding the good mechanic. We feel the same in Chennai. I spent more than you could imagine for my pulsar 150.. But they could never restore it after the engine got seized.. At times i think of opening the engine and do it on my own. But dont know how feasible is that. One day i will do it for sure..

I fill my bike with 7 litres of petrol and still experience stalling, after driving for half a kilometer, it gets normal. Have you or others experienced same problem? Also, the down shifting problem and Speed breaker noises are experienced by me too. I have left my bike in the service centre from past 2 days, they are not able to identify the issue.
Have told me that will be giving me my bike by tomorrow.

Any luck to u guys in above problems?

My bike does around 235-240 km every time I fill petrol of rs500 I don't believe in the fuel sensor it shows wrong reading all the time (I set trip meter everytime)... and till now I have hidden around 3K kms. The bike is smooth not even a single vibrations, for guys with fairing vibration use doublesided tapes it works well. Now there is a video on YouTube showing pulsar reaching speed of about 167kmph the video is surely not from india. Do let me Know your views.

Expecting a 200cc to reach that mark is seriously silly!
There's a maximum capacity that the engine can actually bear, and if you are still in mood to kill your engine by taking it beyond the limit then may your bike RIP [emoji52]

I guess he meant 'put up the side stand/bring the bike to it's own wheels minus the stand'. I'm sure you know that the bike does not crank while that side stand (sensor) is in use/activated.

Were you able to crank the bike later? Was it a starter relay/battery issue? Pls do let us know.

My RS200 didn't start whatsoever... Had to be lifted and Delivered to the Service Centre... They would probably check the problem within 3 days as said by them.

did the speedo console turn on with ignition? It could be the starter relay.. cleansing might do the job! did your bike stand in rain or something?

                          Update:
I took my bike to Adyar SVC and was pissed off by the mechs attitude and he was saying that it might take a week to fix it blah blah.

I tried calling the toll free number for bajaj service and no one picked up even after waiting for 15 min on line .

Then finally left the bike at Jai bajaj, sembakam where KTM service advisor was a ex PBK guy(I owned a fuel injected 220 in the past ) .He referred me to the bajaj service advisor who promised me to take the job seriously and fix it ASAP .

Felt bad for not purchasing KTM and choosing the pulsar because all the top notch mech plus advisors are now with KTM (at least here in Chennai ).

So as of now 620 kms in the odo and almost 550kms where ridden without any electricals damn Bajaj.

I hope that the forthcoming VS400 is sold in KTM showroom .

1.May be you are in a lower rpm or the way you release the clutch might be the culprit .(Try rising the RPM a bit before you pull the clutch lever for up shifting ).

2/My bike also produced many such sounds at variable frequencies which are part and parcel of Bajaj bikes so get a good helmet which will isolate you from such noises.
Or try riding a old gen pulsar with visor open for 100kms and switch to RS (100% sure that you won't be observing any such noises )

Tried everything I could... Push n start.. Nothing helped.
Service Center guys updated that It will still take 1 or 2 more days for them to find out problem.
