Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Hi Fellow xBHPians,
I have bought RS200 last month and with that I terminated my 4 yrs exile of not driving a 2 wheeler. Have drove it around 400 KMs so far, apart from the screeching sound from the rear brake and low FE (30-31 KMPL) its hasn't given me any issues.
For last 3 days I have been commuting to office on bike (60 KM daily run) and face moderate to heavy traffic on my way back home. Yesterday night I felt pain in my right lower bicep which traveled upto elbow. Although the pain was not severe, it however caused me discomfort while I was trying to sleep.
Have never experienced such thing before which makes me believe that it has a strong correlation with the bike riding I have been doing. Kindly suggest what should I do.
Regards,
Abheyjit

Could you get a bit more details about these specific complaints?Originally posted by ssrraghav View PostGuys I got a new complaints In a RS 200 group... ABS malfunctioning, fluid tube breakage and bend... Did any of u come across this..?
what do they mean by ABS Malfunction? Is the ABS light staying on or on hard braking the pulsating feel of ABS is not observed?
Also which fluid tube are leaking ? is it the coolant tubes? or brake fluid tubes?
Thanks In advance
Coming to my Bike, nothing new to report. Bike is riding fine. Getting about 39-40 Kmpl with my very short daily rides.Haven't faced the discharged battery issue again.Still am clueless how the battery got discharged in the first place.
Slight issue of fairing vibrations and still waiting for the tail light assembly to arrive in stock. difficult to take the bike out without a working taillight.
All in all still loving my RS200

How do i know if the chain and sprocket has worn off and whether they need a change?
And how does changing a worn off chain and sprocket affects the bikes performance or rather how does using a worn off chain and sprocket damages a bike ?

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
First time break cable got cut...it was fixed... Later, suddenly ABS is not responding at critical times, I mean brake becomes useless, no stopping at all but works after sometime... Dont know when it will happen so cannot rely on it without a fix... And this same issue happened to three RS200... This is the info I got from that rs200 group...Originally posted by Rambo1o1 View PostCould you get a bit more details about these specific complaints?

Seriously I have a big question, hero's extreme 200 and tvs apache 200 not that great in specs, also very late launch planned... Yet how they say it will be competitive for Duke 200, rc200, rs200... It's not bettering in performance as well as in looks(subjective to me)... It can compete r15 and cbr150 only... Anyway I'm happy again that I made right Decision choosing rs without waiting for apache or other...

Totally agree Raghav... Just launching a 200 cc bike doesnt mean the Apache can match up to the likes of RS, KTM and the NS (did not mention AS since i havent ridden it). TVS has long way to go and a lot to learn before it can compete with those it thinks as competition. Sadly the Apache 200 isn't even close to the league.Originally posted by ssrraghav View PostSeriously I have a big question, hero's extreme 200 and tvs apache 200 not that great in specs, also very late launch planned... Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
There can be some pain in wrist/shoulders/biceps once you start riding any bike after a long time. Even if you are riding a bike for some time and move to a more aggressive posture bike, you'll face similar issues. Give it some time, most likely your body will adjust and the pain will go away. If not, better to consult a doctor.Originally posted by abbysodhi View PostHi Fellow xBHPians,

One suggestion: try gripping the lower part of the tank by your thighs. This decreases the pressure on your arms while riding. Also, try to seat yourself as upright as possible to reduce pressure on arms.Riding a bike is like flying.... All your senses are alive...
