Got my tail light replaced under warranty and also got an unscheduled oil change today.
16 days back i was told to wait for similar amount of days for the tail light to be in stock. called SVC yesterday and was told to call in another 8 days since new parts were exhausted. Pissed at this news i sent a strong mail to bajaj, 10 min later got a call from the SVC telling me to get my bike the next day. Apparently they would give me a new tail light from their fresh stock of bikes.

I also wanted to change my oil since the bike felt rough and already 2500 km had passed since the first service where they put motul 3100t instead of the DTSi oil.
Now i had contemplated to use other semi synthetic 20w50 oils since the only other 20w50 oil from motul was the 7100 and i dint want to go full synthetic yet. Motul 5100 was in 15w50 spec ,maybe ill use it at the next service but before that i would read the pros and cons of using different spec oil.
Since i had no time to go searching for other brand semi synthetic oils i decided to continue with motul 3100t.

Now on the way to the service center which is 23 km away , i knew exactly how my bike sounded, rode with the old oil. i used to get vibrations on the foot pegs at 4.5k rpm to 5k rpm and 6k rpm to 6.3k rpm.
As soon as the new oil was put, which was almost colorless with a golden tinge to it,and i started my bike, i could immediately hear the change in sound at idle. The rough sound was gone. More astonishing, while riding back home was that the foot peg vibrations at those certain rpms had reduced by 50%. though you could feel the vibes, it was very much subdued.

I dint feel much difference when i put the same motul 3100 at my first oil change at 500 km, but i guess after 2.5k km of engine run-in, the new oil made a whole lot of difference. I wonder how my bike would transform with full synthetic oil.

I must say that the service center, sitaraj bajaj ,navelim, Goa, which at that time was shifting its current premises to an adjacent building. Even after all the moving and commotion they did a quick and quality job. Though they need to be reminded and pushed to do other small jobs but overall they seem to be knowledgeable and open to customers demand.
Bro what email address did you write in to at bajaj ?

But if I spin and begin to slide
I pray, dear God please protect my ride
And if I lay down my bike today
I pray to God I walk away...
I walk away to ride another day

I guess it evaporates somehow. I'll be topping it up soon with Motul Motocool.
Ooh... Strange... But keep it within levels as always

I mean the phase is so quick, thats what i wonder why.....many ns owners never reported coolant low levels unless it spilled off or so..

              Dont compare NS with RS
Many riders are following bajaj manual to break-in/running in,
Due to fairings at low speed air circulation around the engine will be less so engine heats up more frequently in this period n it results in coolant droping..

RS is way too different from NS,
Everything is different, everything has been slightly modified so in future dont compare with it!!!

I never removed and it automatically peeled off after some 7-8 months time. That will help protect from the logo peeling off..... However be careful if u r removing as it still leaves markings....

Even I feel the same as long as ktm is expensive for comparison and apache not equal in performance other than ABS...

Well You can compare it with kawasaki H2R or duke 390 thats not a issue!!
But naked bikes logic, tips n tricks doesnt work.
                                Ns vs RS
                                Carb VS Fi
                                Naked vs faired
                                Whole electronic is different,
                                Ns has more centralised weight
                                Rs has forward biased weight!!
