        Hey Saurabh,
Shouldn't be an issue. Just don't rip the bike across the RPM band as soon as you've crossed 2k KMs.
        Take it gradually.
Expose the engine to higher rpms gradually.
For the next 500 KMs take it to about 6-7 k rpm.. And keep increasing the rpms every 500 KMs.
Shouldn't face any problems at all then.

Of course the bike you do TD might already have been thrashed. But still worth a try.

          .

No actually I meant if you know any showroom in the area that would let me test drive the RS, as I went to the bajaj dealer at phoenix mills and they flat out refused a test drive.

You can check at Sai Service Andheri and Executive Bajaj Malad.
But they would give test drive only in the compound. Do call and check before you go.
Last time the malad one's test ride bike had gone for repairs.

That's as equal as sitting on the bike. What is this some 15L bike?, worried about giving it for a ride?. This is disgusting

                    1. Start the bike (Center stand), put in gear 1, increase the idle speed
                    2. The chain is coated with (I think diesel or some oil, not sure)
                    3. Used a blower to blow all the dust and other sticky things
                    4. Used a jet to wash the chain to completely remove the old grease or dust
                    5. Used a blower again to dry it
                    6. Apply the lube spray uniformly
                    7. Once again use the blower to wax it (I think to make it dry)
                    8. Adjust the idling speed to normal
One piece of caution: DO NOT RUN THE BIKE IN 1st GEAR WHILE CLEANING!!!

I know of a guy too lazy to move the tires while cleaning his chain and ended up losing two fingers and damaging one. He posted his details on team-bhp.com

I use my car jack to balance the bike along with a flat brick under the side stand. Procedure to clean the chain:

                    1. Use kerosene oil to clean the chain. I don't like using the chain cleaners because the cost are too high and I did not find any difference in the performance vs kerosene. I have an empty bottle of Colin in which I put the kerosene oil (cost: about Rs 60 per ltr) and spray on the chain generously. Use an old toothbrush to scrub off the dirt grease.
                    2. Again spray kerosene on the chain. Once the chain is soaked, clean it off with a dry cloth.
                    3. Let the chain dry for 5 min.
                    4. Spray the chain lube on the upper and lower side of the chain + on the sprocket. I use Motul Chain lube for this.
                    5. Move the bike manually for a small distance and then leave the bike for 4 hrs.

Caution: DO NOT even think about starting the bike and engaging the first gear while cleaning. This is highly dangerous and to be avoided at any cost. Manually move the tire.

While cleaning, keep cardboard sheet/newspapers below the chain on the ground to avoid the dirt on floor.

That was one valid point. Thanks for the tip, By the way the svc guys are expert in doing it needless to say. But when doing it our self this is very important note. But again, by using side stank, you make yourself uncomfortable and might even make a chance of dropping the motorcycle when lifting. Please note, sliding/pulling over with the side stand is NOT recommended. It may accidentally fall off and if you are toward it, it may fall over you and can result in serious injury.

One example incident was, during registration of my Activa, I saw the guy who does attempt to read the bike's engine number and chassis number for the RTO officer, almost dropped a bike when pulling through side stand, but good nearby guys prevented the bike from falling toward him, though he does it regularly this was shocking

That advice was for those who would like to clean/lube the chain themselves, the svc guys can do whatever they want. I doubt they will ever listen to us

You are right about sliding/pulling over with the side stand being risky. The bike is very heavy and this should not be done. What I do to balance the bike does not involve sliding/pulling over with the side stand. My procedure is:

                        1. Place a flat and thin brick/tile under side stand. The brick should be thin enough so that bike stands on its own without falling on the other side.
                        2. Place the car jack on the swing arm and start rotating till the tire start rotating freely.

The only trick in this method is to find that perfect brick/tile so that bike is placed firmly on support of the side stand and car-jack.

The 1st gear thing won't work in our bikes with the hack you have suggested as the side stand will be engaged and the bike won't start.

                            hey guys.

I wanted to know if anyone has tried to install a center stand . Are there any mounts to install it??

Also has any one installed any security system on their RS200? I dont know much about bikes but when it comes to cars, most modern ones have coded keys with a micro chip inside to prevent easy duplication of keys. Does the Rs200 come with the same type of coded keys? or does it have the simple key design that can be easily duplicated, started with a master key that plagues commuter bikes like the dio/activa??

                            regards

Center stand is not yet available. Also not sure if P220 center stand will fit, but it is for 200NS\AS

For security, maybe you are expecting too much
Instead use a disc lock for additional safety. Anyway, I don't think lifting a 170 KG is that easy :-D
