To have the most accurate possible reading of fuel left in the bike, keep the bike on the side stand and then turn the key on. It will show readings closer to actual. When you pull the bike to upright position, I believe the fuel is distributed at the bottom into 2 recesses because of the frame. Anyways, my Karizma always gave accurate reading while it was resting on side stand.
Yup my ns also give better readings when on side stand

      Hey.
Do you have any more pictures of the new demon black color? Since this color is not available for display at the dealership now,(according to them they haven't got any official reply from bajaj about the new color) i have no way to decide if i should shift my booking from the red to the black version. I cant decide based on the studio pictures posted online by bajaj since it will differ in reality.Looking at your second picture I'm not able to convince myself that the black looks better.

Would Humbly request Xbhpians to please post pictures showing off the new color.

      Regards

Sorry for the late reply bro.

I haven't got a hold of the Manager yet so still nothing concrete. I will be going there again Monday to hopefully book the bike. They say the price increased across all the bikes and not just the RS 200.

The procedure is taking long because I have to exchange my Discover 125T for the RS. But they are giving me only 28K for the Disco (6000 Km on odo) since it is 2 years old now. Is this a good sum guys?

Again I really appreciate your feedback guys. You rock!

          Thanks a lot. [emoji4]

28K only for 2 year old Discover 125 ? I got 19K for my 9 years old Discover 125 DTSI. At the time of sale, the silencer of my bike was not in condition and they said will have to be replaced. I guess, I am lucky to get such amount. I also exchanged with Bajaj people however, it is with Bangalore branch people. I would suggest, Better sell it via OLX or Quikr.

The procedure to exchange the bike is not big as they would have explained you. It is just that you will have to sign the RTO form (not sure about the number of the form) for ownership transfer. And if you are purchasing the Bumblebee on loan then it might take a long time.

Thanks a lot on the detailed info bro!

My bike is the 2013 Model (the refreshed one) and is in fairly good condition. So what you're saying I shouldn't give it away for 28K?

I was getting 33K earlier (had 5400 Km on odo), but they are giving me 28 now.

Never thought about posting to OLX or Quickr, will do that as soon as possible.

              Thanks a ton!

                I am getting 35K for my 2012 D125ST.

Brother force them to pay you more or else find another buyer.
28K is very less. Atleast you must get 65-70% of the money you paid as it's just 2 years old.

Quote atleast 36K in OLX or Quikr and put a comment slightly negotiable and sell it for 33K. Do not sell it for below 30K. Check with 2 more bajaj dealers.

                    Thanks for the heads up!

I hope I can get more than that, If not I will just keep it for my youngest brother. Will be following suggestions from both of you.

Sorry for the OT guys. But I really do appreciate the replies. Thanks again!

                      Congrats to the lucky guy.

In black it looks damn sexy and offers a bigger bike look

He should only charge for consumables like engine oil etc
and for spark plugs and oil filters

                            its a free service
you shouldn't pay him for labour or washing etc
And not even for any problems with the bike cause they should come under warranty
argue with him and even tell him that you'll write a mail to bajaj
