What!! What's going on with the RS200 man!

I experienced the same, as I had booked a Yellow Non-ABS on 26th May and the showroom manager called me up two weeks ago to say that I could get the Red one earlier. I had politely declined at that time, as I was in love with the Yellow RS only!

After a few days, the manager called me up and said that the price had gone up for the bike and now I'll have to pay 1.35 Lakhs instead of 1.33. I politelty argued and said that how can you do this? I threatened to contact Bajaj directly. But the manager politely said : "Sir, kya karein ab wahin se price badhaya hai. Then I gave up the argument because I had heard somewhere that the cost of bike will be calculated according to the prices applicable on the day of delivery.

But then I heard that no one got the RS200 non-ABS in less than 1.35 lakhs, and then I realized that perhaps that the manager would have made a mistake by quoting me a low price and hence lowering his commissions. So not really a loss, but still....do hazaar ka petrol do mahine chalta mera

In return of those extra 2k rupees, I call him everyday to inquire about my bike's delivery and the bichara has to answer the same to me everyday. I called him up today again and he told me that I will get my bike by the end of this week or pakka before the month end. Let's see. Waiting eagerly for it to adorn the place in my garage! Can't stop looking at the pics and videos of the beast

The gear issue will resolve after the servicing, and after the run-in period (2k KMs), it will become very smooth, so no reasons to worry there.

The only thing I'm wondering about is the thud noise on speed breakers. A lot of RS200 owners on this forum have reported the same problem. A manufacturing defect? No idea. Try going at 15KPH or 10KPH on the speed breakers and then see whether the sounds are there still.

I got my pulsar rs 200 yellow color non abs on 8 june for 132000 so how does price is increasing ?

Anyone find out why there is a thud from the front wheel when you go above 30kmph over a hump? What are the chances it's the ECU connector hitting the front fender because for me, it's just hanging there right under the headlight assembly.

Also, how feasible do you think this mobile holder will be for our bike? It attaches to the mirror screw. Or, let me know if you have come across better phone mounts.

Don't know what's going on man! Are they creating an artificial scarcity to bump up the sales? Possible. Just read in the news 2 days ago that they're bumping up the production. All this seems to be a marketing strategy that's all!

i have ordered 1 for 500 rs of ebay which fits to the mirror stand and then i found the above links (lets see and hope that it fits properly otherwise 500 rupees down the drain.
My suggestion will be to go for the waterproof 1 its roughly 900-1k but its will do the job.I had bought waterproof googles ,which are UV resistant and dust proof so i can use the bike without random stuff going in my eye. i bought them for 700 rupees of the chinese website DHgate and i found some dealer in mumbai and the ebay guys selling the same google for 2.5k rupees . The indian dealers charge any price if they feel you cannot get the item locally or from any1 else which in this case was true as i had to buy it from the chinese people.So when you decide to buy this stand for 1k rupees from ebay remember you may also be getting it for something like 300-400 rupees but you will really have to search for it.

Did anyone in Mumbai receive the RC book yet? I got the bike in March but have not received the RC book till now.

After lots of confusion I have decided to go for Pulsar RS200. I have budget of 1.5L and want bike for daily commuting and some touring.

My requirements are mileage and comfort. Don't wanna go with RE as personally I don't like them.

Let me know if I can consider any other bike.

BUDDY after using rs 200 for around 200 km for office commuting use only i can say that it is one of the best fully faired commuting bike in the segment and my next stop will be a touring ofcourse.
