Please look at the date when this incident was reported. it was among the first batch.I haven't come across similar incident like this,so i guess bajaj has improved on its quality.

I have seen accident Rs200s lying at the service center with their front wheel totally broken off but the alloy is intact, just a bend where the wheel impacted. If you think alloy wheel cracking is unique to bajaj then please check what happened to a Gixxer owner on this forum. Also there are old reports of dukes, and even Yamaha FZ with broken alloy wheel. To be on the safe side, this is with any bike, just make sure you dont constantly crash into pothole at higher speeds. :-D

Coming to my bike, its just awesome. Vibes have remained reduced ever since i changed oil at 3k km. Nothing negative to report, just slight fairing vibration which i haven gotten used to .

                  Hello Friends a Brief Introduction:
                  I am Tejas.D.Parekh
                  I am from Borivali,Mumbai.
                  Age:32 by heart 21!
Proud owner of Metallic Pearl White RS200.

1st of all this forum has helped me to buy my new sportsbike RS200....So Thanks to all you friends, everyone is very helpful, supportive and enthusiast about wheels.

I was hunting for a sportsbike or we can say a premium budget bike,so had shortlisted Tvs Draken,BMW G310R,KTM RC200 after long research I came to know that Tvs Draken not goint to come in 2016,then waited for every news of whether BMW will launch or not...so wrote a mail to bmw headquarters and asked them that are they going to launch the bike G310R in India this year and the answer was NO,NOT THIS YEAR! then was RC 200 beautiful thin sportsbike but rear seat is of no use and priced 50k more then non abs RS200 on road Mumbai.

So i was like will go for RS200 bcoz hv 2003 Pulsar 150cc and its superb motorbike which i have ridden around 1 lac km but till date rocking,so I was aware of Bajaj Pusar quality and features which are value for money.

I wanted RS200 but wanted in different colour,so luckily saw a video on youtube in white color and fell in Love with it and very 1st think did next morning went to Sai Service Borivali-E and the manager Mr.Parag is superb to help and support,I did finalize everything and booked the bike.
Price after cash discount for non abs version gor for Rs:1,40,000/-
Price for Metallic Pearl White Rs:12,000(including white color rto and insurance mentioned)
So total I got Non Abs Pearl White RS200 for Rs:1,52,000(on road mumbai)got complimentary White studds helmet and bike cover(both basic).

About The Bike its Huge...Broad and Heavy, but as soon you ride 30kms you get used to it.

Tyres: 1 word awesome was confused about MRF had thought to change but xbhp friends said the tyres are Good and Yes they are superb felt bike very grounded even in mumbai's patchy roads.

Lights: Again its Superb...both projectors do their work Greatly, and all other lights too.

Seats: Bit Hard but great under thigh support, pillion seat to hard thats wht my wife complaint!

Overall Bike is Great to ride...makes you to run the Beast fast but wont speed above 40kms till 1000kms to maintain best engine life.

This is just a short review after a 1 day with my white beast will tell you all about pros and cons after some days.

XBHP Friends keep up the Good work as i read each and every thread of you'll and it was very very helpful.(Thanks Santosh.K for helping me).Bye.

                    Congratulations!!

White without the stickers looks really good on the RS.Do post some side view pics to get a better sense of the color.
Also do let us know if you get any fairing vibrations if you rev above 4.5k rpm.Since all the body panels were removed and refitted for the painting.

Also you can inquire from your service center if they are open to using different oil of same specification other than Bajaj DTSi oil? IF yes switch over to semi synthetic after 3k km, your bike will love it and any of the inherent vibes will be reduced greatly.Go through this thread to find posts related to how good oils other than bajaj DTSi are.

Wishing you million miles of blissful riding

                    Regards

Was not much of a fan on rs 200 due to its overdone fairing stickers, however the white looks stunning.
                      Man she is a beauty.
Reminded me of energica ego superbike
                      Great choice
You will definitely turn heads with that

                        • Got rid of the Stock mirrors of my RS200

I never liked the concept of installing the RVMs on the front fairing of the bike. I could only see my shoulders on my stock mirror. Decided to look for an alternative and installed Handlebar end mirrors (Cafe racer style)

Bar end mirror looks great and unique
                          increased visibility
                          Got rid of the blindspot

Easy installation procedure. Just remove the bar weights (dampers) and fit the bar end mirrors.
The mirrors weighs more than the weights on the ends of the handlebar. So handle bar vibrations are under check (It does the job of the dampers)

The KTM guys at Cochin had showed me a demo a device like that when I was at the showroom fixing some finance stuff. They showed that the device will show in real-time the location, speed and a bunch of other details. Plus, we can turn off the bike remotely. Managed via an app. Currently on a windows phone, hence didn't purchase the device. If i remember right, it costs around 8k.
                              Must ride on!
