What exactly have they left from the 390's ABS module?

Did they attach the rear ABS pump?

I doubt if it will work as the ECU doesn't know if there is a rear pump. So in order for it to work you need the ECU like the Duke 390.

Can you please attach some pictures?

      Thanks!

That's a good news. So you got your bike back. Plus dual channel ABS needs appropriate ECU programming too. Bajaj could've done that....like mobile firmware update kind of stuff . 19K sounds a bit high isn't it

U gotta be kidding.. Bajaj doing that for free seems nothing but ome of the best jokes ive heard in quite a while..

Bajaj delivering on what they charge would be an achievement in itself.

            Hi Guys,

I found motul coolant on amazon.in.

MOTUL MOTOCOOL EXPERT COOLANT: Amazon.in: Car & Motorbike

Is this coolant compatible with RS200? Also, if compatible then can I just do a top up or should drain existing coolant first?

If you want to topup your coolent use motul inugel. It is ready to use coolent. The 200 RS gets motul inugel from the factory. I've used inugel it cost 200rs for 1ltr. And i crosschecked the color of inugel and the one that was already in my bike it matched.
              Hope this helps .

What could be the issue or is it normal as the bike is in run in period.

Guys the sound is coming from rear brakes on moving the bike normally. Problem is not related to the speed. Also, the sound is coming only when i am moving the bike in forward direction. Is it normal?

Also, want to ask about the teflon coating. Is it necessary?
The showroom manager was saying that there is no need of teflon coating on the bike. So what should i do?

One more thing i want to ask, on the first service the mechanic accelerated the bike to the rpm limit on the first gear and then kept on redlining but hardly for 200 meters. So should i worry about this because since then i am getting vibrations on footpegs with a hint of sound only when I am braking and downshifting the gears. Otherwise, there are no vibrations while riding.

Ride the bike for some time without using the rear brake. After a while stop and touch the disc, if it's hot that means the pads are constantly rubbing against the disc. Get it sorted at the SVC.

Teflon coating is up to you. You can do it if you want, but better make sure they're using official 3M coating.

Redlining is not bad for the bike. Just avoid doing it all the time. Vibrations will go away with time, tell them to tighten the bolts on the pegs.

Not sure abt wat they left... Mechanic said like he dummied out the rear wheel connection..RS ECU is 6000 rs... So duke's shud be the same..

Yes it is high..first they quoted 30500 rs fr abs unit.. Comparitively its 10 k cheaper...

                          Hi,

In one of the RS200 review, it is mentioned that RS will reach 80Kmph at 6K RPM and 100Kmph at 7K RPM. My bike reaches 93Kmph at 7K RPM on 6th gear in linear acceleration. By holding the bike straight I noticed the oil level and it is more than the maximum limit. So I suspect the excess engine oil affects the performance.

                          Please share your thoughts.

If you rip bike too hard you will notice lesser speeds per rpm because wheel is constantly accelerating , so speedo will give little erroneous result. Keep bike at constant rpm for some time only then you can get correct number.

                                2. Aero Drag , Tyre pressure, engine health, valve clearance, chain lube/ rust . There are many possibilities why your bike has lesser speed. Sort it out one by one.

                                3. Intriguing how one can check oil level by holding bike straight . I thought one needs to keep it main stand and remove dipstick to do so.

                                4. Depends, excess oil usually damages seal and leaks out . otherwise is thrown back in air filter chamber. There is a reason why manufacturer put the MAX symbol in dipstick
                                Thanks for your comments.

I agree with your comments 1, 2 & 4. I hope I don't need to check the oil level with the use of Dip stick. Since there is a oil level marker.

If you have RS please tell me at what RPM you reach 100kmph. I have tried this in highways at constant RPM. Please note the gradient of the road is normal.
