Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Finally got my long awaited RS today...
Just 2 queries!!
1) How long before the thud sound fades away?
2) When exactly is the radiator fan supposed to kick into action? I can feel d sides of my bike (d part where the thighs are) heat up very quick.

Congo on the bike
Some people have said here that the sound has faded away for them after about 2k kms
The fan is supposed to kick in if the temp rises above 98 degrees to bring it down to about 92.
Not sure about the exact temp now.
Don't worry too much about the heat.
The bike heats up quite a bit before first service---

Thud sound on a new bike?.
Ride your bike in traffic for 20 minutes and then let it idle for 5-10 minutes. You will see the fan spinning and a hot air blowing out. You don't need to experiment this, but I'm just telling you. As per motorcycle manufacturer recommendation, don't let your motorbike running in idle for long time, which will heat up the engine very quick, quicker than running it at RPMs
