Roots is a good horn. Make sure you have a cut-out/Horn relay fuse thing between the horn and the electrical system.

No matter which good company horns you use, if it consumes more power than stock one you are putting extra load on battery, relay, n wires so always first check how much your stock ones are consuming then buy new horns which have more decibel but consumes same powers as stock.

Ofcourse you can use multiple horns without new wiring n fuses but you ll reduce your bikes life.

                Friends!!
Why you guys let them do such stupid things with your bikes,
Its your hard earned money, n you will be the one who suffers for their stupidness.

Wheelies don't harm your bike if he has done it properly, if he has landed like hell sure it ll,
                Check forkes, bearings, oil seals.

                  • Piggy Back for Pulsar RS 200

                    Hi All,

Need help in understanding how piggy back works and which is best for Pulsar RS 200.

Recently I got Air Filter changed for my RS 200 which has improved the torque tremendously but I think there is more Air and less fuel.

I was thinking of getting Piggy back suggested by my friend but need to know how it works and which is best for Pulsar RS 200.

                    Thanks in advance.

I guess by piggy back you mean an external tuning box that bypasses your stock ECU maps.

For this you will need to visit any reputed tuner like Petes or red rooster etc ,since standard tested tuning boxes for RS200 arent out yet. You will have to let them map your current ECU and then they will customize the new maps to your style of riding. This will involve time for testing and some decent amount of money.
If you have both then do give them a visit and they will let you know the feasibility.

Also i dont know what type of Air filter your using but please remember that K&N, BMC etc let in more dust particles into your engine and damage it in the long run. There is a thread here on the causes of such filters. Such filters arent really meant for dusty Indian conditions.

Do let us know if you move forward in tuning your RS200

                            Regards.

                                Thanks for the response,

I am using SIMOTA Racing AirFilter and what would be the budget I will be looking at if I want to go ahead in Tuning and remap ECU.
